You were well aware of Kwangmin's previous relationship with Dasom. Even though they were exes, they are still very close friends since they're label mates. You had always felt insecure about their 'friendship'. Dasom had always been so touchy with Kwangmin, considering she was the one that broke it off with him. You always wondered if Kwangmin had even told her that he had a girlfriend, you. You were scrolling through AllKpop, when a sudden article caught your eyes. "BOYFRIEND'S KWANGMIN & SISTAR'S DASOM DATING?!?!" Was the headline, along with a picture of them two, holding hands. You were furious, last month he left to go on tour, but now this pops up? Your eyes began to tear up, but you refused to let any tears loose.
Like it was on queue, you heard keys jangle and the door opens, with none other than Kwangmin. His head popped up to the computer screen, where he saw the article you were reading. His eyes widened, when he saw you, with tears building up in your eyes. "I need to tell you something." Kwangmin whispered, loud enough for you to hear. You never wanted to hear those words.
"Listen. I never wanted to put you through this, but I want to break up." Your jaw was wide open, surprised. "Why? What did I do wrong? Tell me! Just please stay with me." Tears began to roll down your face. "Over this tour, we caught up with Sistar. We hung out more and more, and I began to grow feelings for-" "Dasom, I know. I-I-if she makes you happy and you don't have feelings for me anymore, I'll leave." You lied. You wanted to stay with him, but you couldn't. "I'm so sorry." Kwangmin whispered. You ran upstairs to grab your suitcase and packed your suitcase. You gave him one last kiss. You didn't want to pull away, but you had to.
"Goodbye, Jo Kwangmin.' You mumbled, and ran out. On the way out, you saw Dasom. "Dasom. Just take good care of him. He loves you." You said, walking past her. *Doorbell rings* Minwoo opens the door, to find you, with tears. He immediately hugged you, his arms wrapping around you tight. "Can I stay with you for tonight?" "Yeah, what happened?" "I'll tell you later." Once you two were inside and sat on the couch, you began to explain what had happened. "If only you knew that I love you.." He mumbled. You looked at him surprised, not expecting his confession to come that quickly. "I-I-" "I know that it's sudden and I'll give you time to think about it. But I'll promise to never hurt you, not the way that Kwangmin did." He pulled you in for a kiss. You had butterflies in your stomach. You had never felt this way with Kwangmin, and you didn't want to pull away.
*5 YEARS LATER*
You and Minwoo were engaged and your wedding was coming up very soon. You were both grocery shopping when someone familiar caught your eye. It was Kwangmin. All the flooding memories came back to you, and before you knew it, you were crying. "Jagi?" Minwoo asked. He saw Kwangmin and that moment he knew why you were crying.
He pulled you in for a hug and wiped your tears. This was one of the reasons why you loved Minwoo, Kwangmin never did comfort you the way that Minwoo would. Kwangmin began to walk over to you two, Minwoo's grip around your waist tight. "It's been awhile." He mumbled. "Where's Dasom?" You asked. "Well, she broke it off with me again- Minwoo?" His eyes widened, not expecting to see you two together.
"Why are you talking to her? You hurt her. She's still healing from when you broke it off with her." "Wait are you two girlfriend and boyfr-" "We're fiancées". "O-oh" Kwangmin was really surprised. He began to walk off. You pulled out of your handbag, a wedding invitation. You are invited to the marriage ceremony of No Minwoo & _______. You grabbed a pen and began to write at the bottom. Kwangmin, I know that you're hurt, and I don't expect you to come but I'm still giving you this anyways. I hope we can still remain friends. "KWANGMIN!" He turned his head and looked at what was in your hand. You wordlessly gave him the invite and walked back, where Minwoo was waiting.
