"Ughh! I don't know what to do! Promposal season is nearly over!" You rant to your Minji. Prom is what you had been looking forward to since the start of high school and now it's your last year of schooling. "Don't worry! A little birdie told me that you're getting asked out today." She told you. Before you could say anything else, she left you, running through the hallway.
You had noticed your crush, Vernon giving you occasional glances during the day. Well, more than occasional. Before you knew it, class was over and it was time for break. You see Hyomin talking to Hansol. 'Well looks like he's asking Hyomin out.' You thought. You find Minji and begin ranting. Again. "He is gonna ask her out! She's so pretty! Her hair is long, her skin is flawless, she's tall UGH! I want him to ask me out." You tell her. Glancing over you see Hyomin flirting with Vernon as always. You try to put it behind you for the rest of the day but to no avail.
The rest of the day goes by quite quickly, wondering who would ask you out. As you meet the rest of your friends to walk home, Vernon comes running to you. "Hey Hansol, what do you want?" You ask. "Ok, I really like you and you are so beautiful. I was too blind to notice my true feelings. I don't know what else to say but, would you let this idiot take you to pr-"
Vernon gets interrupted by Hyomin as she asks him if he'd want to go to prom with her. "No, sorry but I'm going with someone better." He rejected her. 'Wait, did he just reject Hyomin?' You think. "Ahahahaha. You're going with.. This? You'll regret going someone who looks like a pig." She retorts, walking away in her 6 inch heels. "Anyways, will you go out with me?" He asks, nervousness lacing his voice. "Y-yes." You stutter, managing to form a word. He pulls you into a hug, everyone around you looking. "Please don't listen to Hyomin. You're beautiful." He whispers in your ear, making you blush profusely. Even if he was an idiot, he was your idiot.
