You and Ari sat there at the bar for what felt like forever.Till your mom walked over and interrupted your conversation.
Mom: Have you been here the entire time
You: Yeah I was talking to Ari
Mom:You are supposed to be with Marlon
Ari: I'll just go*standing up*
You: Please stay we can continue to talk
He sat back down and listened to you and your mom argue.
You: Mom me and Marlon aren't together
Mom: Well then you are to stop seeing Ari till you and Marlon stop seeing each other
You saw from the corner of your eye Ari get up and walk off around the corner of the house. Without saying a word you ran after him.
You: Air wait please listen*Walking towards him*
Ari: What that your mom doesn't want you to see me even though we are friends*walking awway*
You: Please Ari just listen to me
Ari continued walking.
You: Alright walk out on me like Quint did that's nice
Ari stopped and turned around. He noticed that everyone including his parents were standing there.
Ari: I'm not walking out on you i'm walking out on the conversation
You: Ari my mom is crazy me and Marlon aren't together and neither are me and you so please can we just talk
Ari: Fine just not here*pointing at everyone*
You guys started walking away.
Ari: Why doesn't your mom want you seeing me
You: I don't know honestly I don't think I belong in Shore Haven
Ari: What
You: I'm losing interest in surfing and that;s all everyone talks about in this town
*Later*
You and Ari walk back to the party to see everyone out back eating.
