The sound of leaves crunching could be heard echoing in the woods, as two Pokémon rushed past the many trees that surrounded them.

"Can... Can we slow down please?" Asked one of the Pokémon, breathing heavily from basically running for a few minutes by this point. He was a Snivy, with thicker arms and legs than the species usually had.

In response, the second Pokémon, an Oshawott that was extra fluffy, laughed a little, continuing to move forward as he held the snake's paw.

"It'll only be a little longer! We're almost there..."

He hummed to himself softly, gently pulling the Snivy between trees and being careful not to step on any rocks or big branches littered on the ground.

"Where are we even going? We... we've never been this far into the woods!"

"Well, that would ruin the surprise now, wouldn't it?" The otter teasingly stated, causing the Snivy to shake his head lightly. "Besides, we'll be there in about...."

The Oshawott sped up, much to the Snivy's disdain. He was practically dragging the snake forward by this point, making a final push towards where he wanted to go.

"W-Whoa!" Was all the Snivy could exclaim, his legs really feeling the burn from running for so long.

"Now!" The otter yelled, as the two Pokémon finally made it out to the other side of the woods they had been living in for months. They let each other's paws go, the Oshawott standing proudly, seeming to be completely fine. The Snivy wasn't much of the same, hunched over and with his paws on his knees as he breathed heavily, finally being able to relax for a bit.

"So, what do you think Tyrell?" The Oshawott inquired, waiting for a response from the snake, who was still panting heavily.

Speaking of, Tyrell finally moved his head up, still taking it easy as he looked around the area.

"Uh... it's a nice field I guess."

"Mhm! I think this is where we should live from now on; more comfy than sleeping in the trees, eh?"

Tyrell's eyes widened, and the grass type stood up straight as he stared at the otter.

"Are you serious Brian? Is there even shelter or food around here?" Tyrell asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Of course there is!" Brian said defensively, grabbing Tyrell's paws. "After I made my way through the woods, I explored the area. There's an alcove that's been abandoned, we can stay there for shelter. I also found a place where we can get lots of food, more than what the woods can give us at this point!"

Tyrell chuckled, smirking at the otter's reaction.

"Well, good to know you actually looked around. You're cute when you get like that," he teased, causing Brian to be surprised and blush a little. The otter also chuckled, staring into the snake's eyes lovingly.

"Oh, I should probably show you the alcove..." Brian said, snapping out of it as he let go of one of the snake's paws. "Ready to keep moving?"

Tyrell sighed, simply nodding his head. The otter smiled a little more brightly, moving ahead as the two walked side by side at an average pace.

It was a short walk from the outskirts of the woods, taking roughly a minute or so. The field had some tall grass that was off to the right from where the Pokémon came from, and on the left was a small hill in the field, where the alcove laid.

Brian and Tyrell stopped walking once they made it to the hill, the water type going ahead to move branches out from in front of the alcove's opening. He put them to the side, gesturing towards the now open hole.
