Figure It Out

After that one night when Will and Jonathan caught Joyce and Hopper having sex, she stopped seeing him for a while. It was 8:00 am, everybody's wide awake and Joyce is making breakfast. Little does she know, Hopper, Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Nancy, Steve, and Robin come in the house unexpected. Hopper walks behind her and wraps his arms around her waist and all of the kids just watch. "Why haven't you ever called me back or come over to my place?", Hopper asked and Joyce just responded with "I've been a little busy with work.". But the real reason she hadn't seen or talked to him in days was because she thinks she's pregnant but she doesn't feel like taking a test and telling Hopper and the children because it's too chaotic right now with Vecna over here snapping people's bodies and gouging their eyes out. "Ok kids, come eat quickly because you guys have to be at school in like 10 minutes!", Joyce yells and Hopper whispers in her ear "Can we talk in another room?". She nods her head as the two of them walk into the laundry room. "So what do you want to talk about?", Joyce asked him and he said "What are we doing here, Joyce? I mean.. we're not married, we're dating- we're just fuck buddies.". She looks at him confused and crosses her arms. "So what're you saying?", Joyce asked and Hopper tells her "I want something real, I want us to be more. I want to be able to kiss you in public, go out on dates, and I just want to know.. if you want that too. Do you?". Sadly, she wasn't able to answer him because Will barged in saying "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting something, but we're all just going to walk to school.". Joyce nods as her son leaves the room and as she was about to leave too, Hopper grabs her by the arm and closes the door. "Don't go without giving me a straight and simple answer!", he tells her as he pushes her against the wall and kisses her but she pulls away and starts crying. "Why are you crying? Tell what's wrong, please Joyce!", Hopper holds her close to his chest and she just can't stop crying. "I can't because the last time I told somebody about a major situation like this, he left me for a while, came back, helped me, and it repeated all over again for the second time! I don't want to lose you, Jim Hopper! Do you want to hear that? I'm scared of losing you and you're WAY wrong! We're not just fuck mates, we're a couple and so what if we're not married right now? We can get married later when we're ready, okay Hop?", she tells him and he says "Whatever it is, I'm sure we'll be fine and work things out. I promise you, if it involves you dying or you doing something terribly wrong, we'll figure it out together. Hopper looks down as Joyce takes his hand and places it on her stomach. Hopper is so confused until she says "I'm pregnant.".
