Surprise!

About 5 months later, Joyce is 9 months pregnant and she's in labor and Jim doesn't know what to do. He just grabs the delivery bag with his girlfriend's and their baby's clothes in it. They hop into their car with Max and El. Jonathan takes his car and his brother sits in the back with Mike while Nancy is in the passenger seat. About 5 minutes later, Joyce is quickly rushed into a room with Jim and he holds her hand through the whole process. Meanwhile, the children just sat in the waiting room reading magazines or talking to each other until.. "Dr. Albot, the patient is seizing!" A bunch of doctors started rushing into the room Joyce was in and nobody had a clue who the patient was until El closed her eyes and was trying to concentrate and see. While her mind was in the void, Jim was told by the doctors that she needed surgery and that if things didn't go as planned, he would have to choose who to save. "What's happening? El, who is it?", Will asked as he started shaking and touched the back of his neck. "It's mom..she's..dying.", she says as she opened her eyes and everyone started panicking. They all looked at the door as it made a loud noise when it opened and they all ran to Jim. "Where's mom? Is she okay? Is the baby okay?", Jonathan asked a whole lot of questions and Nancy put her hand on his shoulder. "She needs to have a C-Section because of her high blood pressure and she started seizing." The man sat down next to El and she laid her head on his shoulder. "Don't worry, Joyce knows what she's doing. We'll all make it out of here with mom and my baby sister.", she tried making her dad not worry so much so she smiled, which also made him smile. Nancy held Jonathan's hand while watching his brother and Mike talk about the new fort Will is building in his backyard. "Your mom will be just fine, we both know she'll be okay. She's strong, independent, feisty, and she's a fighter. I promise you that her and your new sister will be alright." Jonathan nodded but then whispered to his girlfriend.. "Don't make promises you can't keep." Anyways, about an hour later, Joyce is finally out of surgery and the doctors tell her family that everything went well. All of them walk into one of the patient rooms Joyce was in and see that she was carrying TWO BABIES. ONE BOY AND ONE GIRL! Jim looked surprised and everyone else was shocked as well. The man walked over and sat down on a chair next to the hospital bed and carried his son. "The doctors said they didn't see two babies until they moved our daughter.", Joyce said as the boys smiled. "I finally got a little brother!", Will yelled out and everyone laughed at him. "I finally have a another daughter and Jim finally has a son!", the older woman smiled as everyone crowded around the bed trying to look at the babies. "What's their names?", Nancy asked because we all know that she would've wanted to pick their names. "Our daughter's name is Jade and Jim gets to choose our son's name!", Joyce looked over at him and saw how grateful he was. "James Hopper."
