Ponyboy and Jay are found!

It was a dark gloomy night and I swore it was below freezing. I probably would have hyperthermia  if I hadn't been running so much. I don't know what we were going to do like obviously we were going to the movie theater to search for Ponyboy and Jay but what would we do if they weren't there. I looked up ahead and saw Darry was already down the street from where we were, he was probably so scared. I felt for him because if that was Johnny I probably would be going ten times faster than the speed Darry was going at now. 

We all turned the corner with our feet still hitting the hard wet cement. We saw Darry beating the crap out of a soc. Darry gave us all a look then we knew to help him. I pulled the hair of a blonde-haired soc that was wearing a blue polo with pink madras pants. My god did he look stupid. I lifted him by his hair and kicked him to the ground. I started going off on him because I had this fiery anger inside of me it was one I couldn't put out. I started having flashbacks of the night Johnny was jumped and that just pushed me over the edge. I must have blacked out because when I came too I was still beating the soc even after the others ran away. The soc was in heavy tears and was crying for his mommy.

"KATE stop it," Twobit said

"You did enough damage"

"He isn't worth going to jail for"

I just couldn't stop. Darry and Two-bit grabbed me and physically restrained me from attacking him even more.

"Yeah good going, Kate, you showed that stupid madras lover to never mess with a greaser," Dally said with pride. 

"I say let her finish him off" 

Oh god, Dally never complimented anyone nevermind me so I knew it had to be bad. I saw him, his face was covered in blood and I busted his nose open. The kid was knocked out at this point and my fists were covered in blood. I was still in shock but then I saw the kid I beat up he couldn't have been over 15. What have I done? Me the one who always refused to hit anyone had almost killed a kid. You know thats also one of the reasons why Dally hated me I never liked fights and I always wanted to make peace with everyone. How could I do that to a kid? A person like Dally would beat up a kid not me, was I turning into Dally?

All of a sudden the kid woke up and started screaming. Two-bit covered the kid's mouth with his hand to shut him up. He looked so frightened like he was in a nightmare or something. 

"Please don't hurt me" The kid managed to muffle through Two-bits hand.

"Can you remove your hand?" 

"No more screaming alright kid" Two-bit answered looking dead serious.

"Alright."

"Tell us everything starting with your name," Two-bit said removing his hand from the boy's mouth.

"Okay my name is Greg and I promise I had nothing to do with this, it was all my stupid friends' idea. I told them not to do it but they were drunk. I didn't want to come but they threaten to leave me if I didn't and they are the only friends I have here."

Great I attacked the innocent one that had nothing to do with this. He only got caught up in his friends' stupid plan.

"You believe his lies?" Dally asked Lia.

"Are you kidding me no, he attacked Ponyboy and Jay." 

"PLEASE NO BELIEVE ME I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS," yelled Greg

"Ask the Girl my friend was harassing her and I told him to knock it off afterwards I told all of them that we should get out of here." 

"Jay?" Dally said looking at her.
