(A/N): I know, it's been a while but it's been a stressful few weeks and for the first time in a while, I feel like writing would be a perfect thing to do to unstress. SO IT'S TIME FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER Y'ALL!!!

Theo still had a slight limp but no longer needed his cane to get around, but he usually still carried it with him as it was easier to walk.

Several months passed with Loki and Theo getting closer and closer when one day, Thor burst into the giant dining room during an Asgardian feast, part of his face bruised and swollen, and yelled, "WE RETURN FROM HAROKIN WITH NEWS OF VICTORY! LET US CELEBRATE WITH FEASTS AND MEAD AND MUSIC AND DANCES THAT LAST WEEKS ON END!"

The entire room roared with their approval at their prince while their other prince had a fake smile planted on his face staring at the god of Thunder. Theo stood next to him, looking over at Loki and sensing that he was hiding his genuine emotions.

The palace doors were open to all Asgardians, and in less than an hour, the entire palace was full. There were tables full of food and drink, Thor despite his slight injuries was the life of the party. Asgardian musicians were playing song after song, every one Thor sang out screaming out lyrics that were not right but everyone went along with it and the entire palace was full of life and laughter.

Loki stood next to Theo staring at the god of thunder, everyone noticed Thor but not even a single glace was made towards Loki, well except for Theo's constant gaze at Loki.

"Why are you staring at me?" Loki asked.

"Because I can tell something is wrong," Theo answered.

Loki's piercing green eyes stared into Theo's brown, "Why would anything be wrong? Everyone is celebrating, everyone is happy, why wouldn't I be?"

"I know you well enough to know when you are hiding your feelings."

"Then maybe it was a mistake to bring you here," Loki snapped back and rushed out of the main party room.

Theo stood shocked in the corner, not knowing what to do or say.

Loki kept walking until he didn't see any partygoers. When he finally was alone he was in one of the smaller rooms of the palace, there were a few places to sit and a singular desk and a wall of books. There was a singular window behind the desk draped in a curtain. Loki walked over and opened the curtains.

The view wasn't the greatest, you mostly just saw another wall of another section of the palace. However, you could also slightly see into one of the gardens. The gardens were less full than most places inside the palace but there still were many people partying out there too.

"Loki."

Loki turned his head just enough to see that Frigga managed to get into the room without making a noise.

"What do you want?"

"I could ask you the same question," Frigga answered.

"Whatever do you mean, mother?" Loki asked.

"What did you say to Theo?"

"Nothing."

"His expression when you left tells me it was not nothing."

Loki grabbed the closest thing to him, which was a cup on the desk, chucked it to the side, and in a raised voice said, "Why do you even care?"

"Loki, people care about you, Theo is one of those people," Frigga said, "why do you not want others to care about you?"
