"Dusty where are my car keys?" Mom yelled causing me to stir in my bed.

"They should be on the key rack by the door!" Dustin shouted back.

"Thanks Dusty!"

I rolled over to see Robin sprawled out across her side of the bed. Carefully I stood up from the bed in order not to wake her and want to the bathroom across the hall to do my morning routine.

When I walked back into my room Robin was laying on her stomach with my phone up to her ear. She motioned for me to be quiet aggressively which is when I heard it.

Dustin was on the phone with someone in the other room and Robin was eavesdropping like a good nonbiological big sister. Robins mouth opened in shock.

"What?! What is it?!" I shook with anticipation.

She held up one finger and listened closer before hanging up the phone.

"Who was it?!" I asked quickly.

"Okay okay sit down for this," She scooted and made room for me to sit criss cross in front of her. "So that was Mike Wheeler and apparently he had been eavesdropping on Nancy and her friends call last night, so basically Nancy absolutely hates you,"

She paused to laugh. "She kept going on and on about how Steve won't stop talking about.. can you guess? Oh too late it's you!"

My mouth fell agape. "Say what?!" I yelled a little too loudly.

"Keep your girl squeals to a lower volume!" Dustin shouted.

"Oh also Queen Nancy is thinking about breaking off her courtship to the King because he can't stop thinking about one person only and that person is named Y/n Henderson!" Robin continued.

"Why would Steve be consistently talking about me?" I asked frantically.

"Because you two belong together!" She groaned and fell back against the bed.

"Give it up Robin," I laughed and fell back with her as the doorbell rang.

"I got it!" Dustin shouted and opened the door.

Then it hit me. Steve was here to work on our science packet.

"Shit shit shit," I scrambled off the bed and frantically ran around my room.

"What what's wrong??" Robin got up and started running around with me.

"It's Steve he's here to work on a packet we have for our science class," I whisper-yelled and started picking up anything dirty or messy.

"Oh I understand," Robin smirked and sat down on my bed with a weird look.

"Understand what?"

"Nothing just the fact you are scrambling for your room to be clean for Steve." A sudden knock came from the door.

"It's Steve," He spoke from behind the door.

"You can come in," I replied and Steve walked in signaling a hi to Robin.

"Hey Steve, sorry I would totally stick around but I promised Dustin I would watch a movie with him," Robin excused herself even with my glares.

Steve gladly allowed himself to take a seat on my desk chair backwards. "You have the packet right?" He asked.

"No I left the 20 page packet we have to work on together at school," I answered sarcastically before digging in my bag and pulling out the packet.

"So what's the game plan?" He asked as I flipped through the pages feeling overwhelmed.
