First morning being single felt kinda good. No pressures no constant worry no one to talk about your day with nobody to cuddle. Okay who am I kidding being single sucks.
Since me and Steve had finished our packet we had nothing to do the rest of science class. "So you were really about to walk home?" Steve scoffed.
"Yes, he left me and told me to get out what was I supposed to do?" I exclaimed trying to keep in my laughter so I don't disrupt the rest of the working class. "I wasn't gonna flag down cars like some homeless guy,"
He laughed before continuing. "And you climbed over Eddie? You couldn't just go around the car and get in a normal way?" He muffled his laughs.
"I don't think you've realized this," I crossed my legs dramatically. "But I am not normal," I flipped my hair and gave Steve a weird look.
"God you're weird remind me to always have my windows rolled up when I'm picking you up to go somewhere,"
"Never," I dragged on dramatically Just as the bell rang out through the school signaling class was over.
Steve and I walked out together and Robin joined us at my locker. "I see the burning feud is over and you both finally admitted how much you like each other," She smirked and wiggled her brows.
I felt the heat rise to my cheeks. "Oh we're not-"
"She's not my-" We both stuttered. "I'm not-"
"Oh so the feud continues..?" Robin tried again.
"No we're friends again but we aren't- you know- aren't-" I tried but just couldn't say it for some reason.
"Dating?" She finished.
"Ye-yeah that," Steve ran a hand through his hair and I noticed a slight pink tint rise on his cheeks.
Is he blushing? I looked in my locker seeing the same pink tint on my one cheeks. Am I blushing?
"Okay anyway, this weekend this new movie Footloose is coming out so me and Eddie were talking and we wanted to see it with you and Steve you can come too I guess," Robin rambled quickly.
"Sure I'm not doing anything, I'll just need a ride," I told her.
"I can give you a ride," Steve offered.
"Okay then plans are set don't change it for the world or I will hold a grudge," She threatened making me laugh. "Friday night meet outside the theater by 7 got it?"
"Yes ma'am," I saluted.
"Got it Steve?" She eyed him.
"Got it general Buckley," He saluted with me.
"I guess my weirdness is rubbing off on you," I smirked and shut my locker.
"Shut up and stick to the plan tonight," He began backing away.
"Got it general Harrington," I saluted again and he winked. "Why are you winking Steve?" I made a weird face at him just as he turned around and walked out of school.
Just me, myself, and I now. Well me and Dustin's friends since they were playing D&D tonight at our house.
I waited in my car for the half hour difference between our release times when Dustin hopped into the front seat, El, Max, and Will sat on the seats while Mike and Lucas sat on the floor in front of their girlfriends.
"Keep it Pg back there okay?" I teased watching them all groan in disgust.
"Eww", The boys in the back gagged.
