Chapter 7

22nd January 2006, Musashi shrine, Night time

Emma: I'm sorry for clinging onto you before Draken...heh

Draken: No big deal.

Emma: -she looked at the stars and smiled- You have stood right next to me in every step of this journey...You, Baji, Mitsuya, Takemicchy...Everyone...It really makes me happy...I don't feel alone anymore...Thanks to you all guys! 

Draken: We are friends Emma so of course we'll help you out.

Emma: Friends...A word I always hate hearing it from you.

Draken: What do you mean-..?

Emma: -she looks at him and smiles- I want to be more than just a friend to you Draken, I know you might not be interested...But I just wanted to move the weight of these words from my chest...I like you a lot Ken! -she smiles at him- 

Draken: Wait what-?

Emma: You don't have to give me an answer, as how I said...I just want to move this weight upon my chest. Now excuse me please I'll head somewhere, see you tomorrow!

Emma left Draken who stood there in shock, didn't know what to do except thinking: Isn't the boy is the one who confesses to the girl? But should I reject her and lie to her again? How the hell did she get this courage to say that to my face!?  His mind stormed with thoughts that he didn't know how to reply to it. He knows his true feelings deep down, but he is scared to admit them...But maybe it was the time for him to fight his fears.
On the other hand: Emma went to the river again, same spot to find her new friend "Mister Stranger" standing there.

Emma: Stranger? Is that you?? 

<< Emma chan? what brought you here today?? >>

Emma: Just clearing my mind.. It's nice to see you again  

<< Thanks, nice to see you too >>

Emma: So you really come here everyday...That's nice

<< Ya.. it's peaceful in here >>

Emma: Indeed it is!

<< You seem quite happy today >>

Emma: -she chuckled- Indeed I am! I confessed my feelings to my crush today, it made me feel relieved

<< Oh? Are you with him now? >>

Emma: No

<< Then why are you s happy? >>

Emma: he still didn't reject me so I guess I still have a chance! He's kind of shy when it comes to these stuff-

<< oh I see...Hope you get the happiness you want >>

Emma: Thank you! -she looks at the river as a big warm smile rises on her face- I'm proud of what I have accomplished...and of how far I got in life...even after loosing my dearest brother...I'm happy that I became stronger...Day by day I learn new stuff...and get new experiences in life...It makes me happy as well..

<< I wish I could say the same about myself -he smiles as well- Life goes hard after I lost my family you see, I still survived, but it doesn't feel the same for me >>

Emma: I'm sorry for that...From now on I'm your friend and I'll help you out

Emma: That's sweet of you. Anyways it's getting late I'll have to go home now. Goodnight stranger!

Emma headed home, she was so happy and she kept on talking to her grandfather about the letter, she showed it to him too. He was happy that she's doing alright and she went to sleep after a little while.

The next day was a holiday so Emma went to train in the dojo early in the morning, she wanted to be stronger and prepared for anything. After half an hour of training Draken showed up in the dojo, Emma saw him, she cut her training and went to him

Emma: Ohayo Draken! What brought you here?

Draken: E-Emma?

Emma: Yes? Did something happen? 

Draken: I-I accept your feelings...
