Rejected by the Alpha

As I entered the school gates , I could hear the lively buzz of student chatter.

I actually like going to school , I could be classified as a nerd because of my straight A aggregate , however if I cared enough , I could be a strong athlete ,one of the fastest even .

"Damn right you are " says my wolf Amyra . See Amyra is more outspoken and strong willed than me , but I suppress her as much as I can because I would get in a lot of trouble with the high ranks since I am nothing but an omega .

Sometimes Amyra tries to surface when I'm kicked around or being called mean names , but I always remind her that everything will be fine as soon as we find our mate then we can leave and our mate will love and protect us .

As I walk to my class I'm stopped by the high ranks . "Hey nerd" says Jason ,the Beta of the pack as he hits my books out of my hands . I immediately tense up but keep my head down , careful not to make any sudden movements which proves to be a very difficult task cause my wolf is pacing and jumpy .

I take slow breaths trying to calm Amyra down but I can feel scratching to the surface . Without warning my back connects painfully with the lockers , and I hear laughter meaning someone pushed me but I don't dare look up . Myeyes prick with tears but I don't show any weakness instead I stay routed to the spot.

"Look here skinny bit- " Ryan , the Alpha says as he steps forward . But as soon as he utters those words , my breath hitches as I smell the most intoxicating smell of fresh rain , pine trees and cinammon . "Mate , mate , mate " Amyra howls in joy , I gasp as I lift my head for the first time and connect with the most beautiful hazel eyes I have ever seen and for that moment , I just stop and allow myself to get lost in them .

My heart rate increases rapidly and my whole body is suddenly aware of him . Somehow I forget that this is my bully and someone who enslaved my family , and I subconsciously take a step closer to him .

"I Ryan Winters , Alpha of the Prowling Predators pack reject you as my mate , you worthless scum "

And in just a few minutes , my whole world crumbles as my heart breaks .
