*RIIIIIIIIIIIING *
I quickly reach out and slam the blaring alarm as I groan and try to push the pounding in my skull . I guess I didn't really consider the results of crying in my pillow for 2 hours straight .
I rush into the bathroom to do my morning business using the limited amount of cold water that i have as i carefully use the rugged makeshift cloth to wash , being cautious of any injuries .
I run quickly downstairs to prepare breakfast before the rest of the pack wakes up . I decide to quickly make waffles , eggs , bacon and cut up some fruit doing so in record time , grabbing my bag and running to school .
" Hey dad , have a good day " I say as I quickly kiss his cheek as I pass by him cleaning the passages. "Miemie , happy birthday sweetheart , I managed to steal some chocolate for you in the kitchen , I'm sorry I can't get you anything else for your birthday " my dad said , " Daddy no , you'll get in trouble you have to take it back , it's fine daddy I promise " I try to push the bar of chocolate back in his hands as I try to push back the thoughts of the sweet , melting chocolate , "No honey take it , I haven't had a birthday present for you since you were a baby , please take it " I can't help but look at this man with pure admiration because although it may seem like nothing , he risked his life to get this chocolate for me because it's my birthday and I couldn't have asked for anything . "Okay , but I'm leaving you a piece and please take care of yourself , don't work too hard " I say firmly as I break the chocolate in half sharing it with him . Hearing some footsteps approaching , I kiss my dad on the cheek and say bye , bolting out of the door heading to school .
This is going to be a long day , call it a hunch.
