noodle boy..?

red sons pov:
We were so close to winning... To defeating the lady bone demon... but of course. It can never be that easy can it..

I had taken my eyes off of the noodle boy for one second to check on the others. They were all looking pretty rough.

As soon as I turned my head I heard it. Something falling to the ground behind me. I turned to see what the noise was and saw mk. He was on his knees, the lady bone demon was standing in front of him. I began to rush towards them when she used magic to blast me back towards the others.

"NOODLE BOY," I shouted, hoping he would hear me and snap out of it...

He didn't. Lady bone demon reached her hand toward him and I watched in horror as her spirits rushed towards mk and hit his back. He fell to the ground.

I watched as lady bone demon smirked and vanished.

I rushed to mk's side to check on him, "mk?! Can you hear me?" I questioned. He didn't speak... He just rose back up to his knees and as his eyes met mine I froze. His eyes were icy blue as opposed to their normal yellow. I rose to my feet and backed up still trying to get through, "mk..? Are you in there..?" I asked softly. He stood and before I could even react he rushed at me.

I closed my eyes and braced myself for the hit... It never came... I opened my eyes.

Sun wukong's pov:
It didn't take long to realize what lady bone demon had done to mk. I watched as red son approached him praying I was wrong and that the kid wasn't gone. I snapped out of those hopes when mk lunged at red son. I rushed forward and intercepted the hit, pushing the kid away. I grabbed red sons wrist and ran back to the others right as macaque set up a shadow portal and sent them through. I threw red son in and then jumped in myself, the last thing I saw was the kids face. It was blank but tears fell down his face... He knew what was happening but couldn't stop it...
