Pet Project

It was a beautiful night in the city and from that sky a glowing pink blur flashes past accompanied by giggling.

The swift pink blur turned up a full 90 degrees all the way up into the sky until it burst through the clouds and came face to face with the bright moon right in front of them.

"I'll never get tired of seeing the moon. But I'm probably late, I should get going." Nova said as she reached out her hand towards the moon enjoying the cold embrace against her before she stopped floating and began to free fall back towards the earth.

She landed in the forest as she transformed back into a human and she walked through the forest lpoking around excitedly.

"Little buddy...where are you little buddy." She called.

"Pi, Pi!"

"There you are!" She beamed diving into a bush but there was no little buddy.

"Very funny...come here or else someone's not going to get there present.

"Pi!" A little head popped out and withlit losing a beat Nova grabbed the little galvanic Mechamorph and smiled.

"Hi there." She smiled.

"Piku!"

"Wanna have some fun?" She said.

"Piku, Piku, Piku!" He wiggled.

"Aww why are you so cute!" She hugged him.

Piku is one of Nova's dear friend since she got here on this planet and when she was down the little giu would alwags do his best to cheer her up.

Nova, you're going to be late for the shopping trip with Gwen and Julie.

Noa groaned at the reminder.

"Gee, thanks...sorry Piku, I have to go but I came bearing gifts." She said as she dug through her pocket and took out a lovely collar blue collar with with half a heart that had Piku's name on it and she took out her necklace which was similar.

"Look I have the same one, so we can promise to be friends, today, tomorrow and always." She said and put it around his neck and bounced around her in joy.

"Piku!"

"I'm glad you like it." She giggled and just then her phone rang and she went through her back pocket took out her phone.

"Hello...yeah I'm on my way...yeah, I'll be right there don't worry...sorry little buddy I've gotta go, be good and I'll see you next time." She said and pat his litrle head before leaving.

"Pi."

Not wanting the be separated he hopped after her and jumped into her back pocket melting itself into her phone.

"Are you ready to shop?" Gwen asked. 

"Gift cards from grandma. I am totally ready." Julie said and the girls both shrieked in delight.

"Okay, no shrieking in the car." Kevin said.

"No promises, sometimes we're gonna shriek." Gwen said.

"Yeah, like you and Ben do when you're watching football." Julie said.

"We do not shriek!" He shrieked.

"What was that, then?" Nova snickered.

"I mean shriek." He corrected in a much deeper voice.

"Uh-hu." Gwen hummed while Julie giggled.

"Anyway I'll drive you to the mall as promised, but I'm not hanging around and watching you shop." Kevin said.
