"Give me a reason, Give me a reason to believe." The woman's voice turns unusually quiet, hardly above a whisper. It's as if she was almost pleading for an answer.

At the end of the day, there's just some things we can't help but speak about. Some things we don't want to hear, some things that simply speak for themselves, and some things we say because we can't keep it to ourselves any longer. And not too often, but every now and then, some things are just better left unsaid.

And so she remains in her position, not having it in her to face her or else she would utter out more than enough things needed to be said. Things to be said being that she has no choice.

Lisa knows, that after this, things between them would never be the same.

She asks to herself, was it worth it?

Was it worth taking the risk and suffer the consequences of feeling her heart ache with every moment passing by, just because of some stupid feelings she never wanted in the first place?
