Night 2: The Wandering

"Nghhh.... W-where a-am I..?" You struggled to get the thoughts out of your mouth. "H-how long h-have I been here..?" You looked around, seeing the destroyed car you have been lying in for the hours. You felt a sharp pain in your left wrist. It looked and felt broken. You couldn't remember if you'd felt this pain once before. You had become surprised that it had only been your wrist the only bone broken. Sure, you were still hurt in other areas but it wasn't as bad. You dragged your limp body into the back of your car, which had been mostly intact. You found a roll a old duct tape, which you decided to wrap around your damaged wrist. It hadn't been the best idea you'd ever had but it definitely wasn't the worst. You say and rested for what seemed like hours, maybe it had been, you had no way to track time. You began to search for food, water, or warmth. You had the shelter of your car, but nothing else.
Whispers. Whispers crept, flowed into your ears as you anxiously wandered the dim forest. Were they ghosts? Or just your imagination? You began to see haunting and strange images within your peripherals.
The worry and fear rose within you as you saw and heard more more haunting things. The whispers rose to a legible state.
Words like "run" "find her" "she is truthful" "turn back to her" "leave the depths" rang throughout the forest. A tall and slim figure appeared in front of you. You abruptly stopped your movement and backed away.
"She will be gone. You must hurry." The figure warned in a grim voice. You panicked and ran back to your car in a fearful rush.
