My body relaxed as I felt two strong arms slip their way across my torso. I leaned back, Dream cradling my head in his chest.
"Hey, baby," he whispered in my ear then kissing my cheek.
I couldn't control my smile. I turned around to face him. "You know we're not supposed to see each other before the wedding right?"
"Oh come on now. It doesn't matter." He went on for a kiss.
"You know I'm a little superstitious so just...go away until-"
"The wedding starts in under an hour, George."
I rolled my eyes. "Well, fine. Guess it wouldn't hurt to kiss you once before then." I leaned in and kissed him ever so softly.
We both longed for more, but I wanted to keep Dream wanting.
"The real reason I came out here was to tell you the guests arrived and we can technically start a little earlier if we wanted."
"Oh?"
"Yeah, you want to?"
"Um, sure...but I have a little surprised for you when we get inside," I said approaching the back door. "I told them to stay hidden until I came in."
Dream's eyebrows furrowed. "Who is it?"
"Now, I know you said you didn't want your family here, but-"
Dream's excited face fell. as he realized what I was saying. He pulled me to the side and said, "You invited my parents??"
I put my hands on Dream's shoulders to calm him down. "Only your mum and sister."
"Half sister," he said through gritted teeth.
"Dream, please, be civil, okay? I realized how happy I was with my mum and I couldn't imagine you not having any family here. You only invited that Sapnap guy here - who I'm still scared of by the way. I mean, come on, try to do this for me. After all we've been through especially in the last year. Techno killing TJ, all the police questions, spending more time in the hospital...and finally finally we got Techno away from us for good. I'm just happy Techno owed you that favor and agreed to leave us alone. But even after that we weren't out of the woods. We had to fly here and find a place, get me enrolled in university- please Dream. It's been so stressful so let's just make peace with them for now. They should be at your wedding , Dream."
Dream thought for a minute, processing, thinking. "George-"
"Dream, please?"
He though for another minute. "Fine."
He opened the door and walked in, immediately locking eyes with his mother. His eyes hardened, then softened once he saw his younger sister smiling up at him. They looked almost identical. They both had the same wavy, blond hair, same shade of green eyes, skin tone matched perfectly, freckles in the same area of her face.
"Hi, Clay!" she said excitedly, hugging him.
"Hi, Drista." He hesitantly hugged her back.
"Clay, can we talk?" Dream's mum started.
"I think everyone is here so let's start the wedding," Dream walked outside to where the arch was while the guests took their seats.
