TW: underage drinking, smut

On the ride back, TJ barely said anything and I was glad he stayed quiet for the most part. Maybe he sensed I was unhappy. Either way, we drove in silence and when we got back to our dorm, we both plopped down on our beds.

"Are you okay, George?" TJ asked me while I turned on my side, facing the wall.

"Yeah," I said quietly.

He didn't push me or ask me a follow-up question. I closed my eyes and fell asleep, avoiding my emotions.

I woke up to a knock at the door and I groggily opened the door. A girl that I recognized from a couple of doors down flashed a smile and then immediately apologized for waking me up after seeing my red eyes.

I dismissed her apology and asked her what was up. "Well, there's a party later tonight and a lot of people on our floor are going." She paused to see my reaction.

"Okay?" I said, trying my best to be polite in my tired and emotionless state.

"Are you gonna come?"

Before I could answer, TJ came around the corner with his backpack and jumped into our conversation. "What's up, Ally?"

"Oh, just inviting you both to a party that's happening at this house tonight. I believe it belongs to a senior," she said, her voice and face getting visually excited when she said 'senior.'

Everyone knew senior house parties were the best. Even frat parties didn't compare. I had never been to a party since I got here. TJ always did and came back laughing (obviously drunk off his ass) and one time even had a guy with him. Obviously, I made it clear I was there and I didn't want them hooking up literally right next to me, but the idea of a one-night stand kinda excited me. The only person I had ever had sex with was Dream... but that was in the past and I didn't want to think about that anymore.

"Oh, yeah, that sounds fun! We'll go for sure!"

"You're gonna go, George?" Ally, which was apparently her name, asked me.

I considered it, weighing the pros and cons. Maybe I should loosen up and forget about Dream. Move on a little. The best way to move and forget about someone is to get drunk. "Um, yeah, I'll go."

"Really? That's great! We'll see ya there!" She turned on her heel and called out over her shoulder, "I'll text you the addy, TJ."

I turned my attention to TJ. "You're actually gonna go? I said 'we' as a very light suggestion. You don't have to if you don't want to," he said walking inside the room after me.

"I mean, I have nothing else to do tonight. I just need to get drunk tonight and have fun."

"Wow. I didn't think you'd ever say that. I'll help you if you want."

I nodded. It needed to happen. I needed to forget about my kidnapper.

We walked into the house that smelled of weed and vodka. I didn't think many people smoked weed anymore, but I guess this was what people did at parties. The music was so loud it hurt my ears when I walked in. I couldn't believe the police hadn't busted this party yet. I smiled seeing Ally and other people on our floor over by the bartender getting drinks.
