    (Third Person Lucien Vero)

Lucien had been sitting in his office, his mind blank, paper sitting on his desk yet he was not writing. He looked over to his clock and it read "6:00am". He needed to get his work done. He needed to write back to the Spanish mafia but he couldn't. Without his brother there to help him he was utterly lost. His brother had been just a year older. They ran the mafia together, they found their sibling competitions got the most work done with one always trying to outdo the other it was efficient they were never violent with each other. They were each other's right hand; they trusted no one more than each other. If Lucien went one way his brother followed and vice versa. His brother was killed a month prior in a fight with the italians. This had completely destroyed Lucien but oh he would never let anyone know because he was expected to be strong and just shrug it off so that's what he did.
At least in front of people that's what he did he showed the people what they wanted to see. The only person that continues to check on him is his wife. They were somewhat friends growing up; their marriage was just a business arrangement. Now aside from being friends they had to conceive a child to run the mafia if something tragic were to happen to Lucien. For some reason since Lucien's brother died his wife has been pushing him to impregnate her and with this he has been distancing himself from her, they haven't slept in the same bed for weeks.
Lucien suddenly full of anger because his wife is trying to take advantage of him, he abruptly got up from his desk making his chair fall back and stormed out of his office to his private gym before throwing strong punches at his bag. About an hour later his knuckles were dripping blood and he was panting heavily. His rage turned into sadness at the fact his wife, business arrangement or not, was supposed to be trustworthy but she turned around and stabbed him in the back, not literally but he at this point  wasn't so sure she wouldn't. And as if things couldn't get worse Arielle walked into the gym on queue. "Lucien, mon amour I have great news!" She says with a skip in her step as Lucien wrapped his hands in bandages before turning to face her.
Lucien sighed heavily "What is it?" He asked playing a small yet fake smile hiding an eyeroll. "It worked, Im with child!" She says smiling. Luciens face goes blank as she runs up and hugs him all he can think is 'Im trapped now'. He pushes him thoughts away having to keep up his facade "Thats wonderful, Ari."
After a while Lucien is back in his study as he begins writing the letter back to the Spanish.

Dear Spanish Mafia,
I, Lucien Vero, the leader of the French mafia, agree to meet up.
I will need a location, date, and a time. This is to discuss peace between
our mafias. I have terms on which you must abide by or there will
there will be no meeting. First, you bring no one not even your right hand
man or woman. Second, there will be no guns and or weapons held
by me or by yourself. Third, you must be open to considering any
ideas I bring up to better our peace between the mafias, as I am open
to anything you may suggest. As I said if you do not agree with my
terms then there will be no meeting and no peace between us.

   ~Sincerely, French Mafia L.V.

As he finishes signing off his letter he wishes nothing more than for his brother to be with him to look it over and approve it, Lucien sighs as he seals the envelope and stands up to send it off. He sends it and goes back to his study not able to help thinking about how wrong this peace meeting could go.
