Chapter 1.5 - Mikasa Ackerman

(Hey everyone, so this Chapter will be a little different from normal. Like they won't be as long as the other Chapters that I've released from my other Stories. That's all I wanted to say to y'all. Anyway... let's begin the side Chapter!)

1 Year later

It has been a full year since I've been living with the Yeager family. And in that year... I've started to see them as my family because of them taking me in when I had no memory of who I was. Anyway, apart from that... me, Eren and his father (who is basically my father as well) were on our way to go visit a family that Grisha knows really well and has been doing check-ups on for the past few months. Now you might be asking. if his doing check-ups, then why is he bringing two children along with him? Well, that's because the family apparently have a daughter who is same age as us. Well... same age as Eren, and not me.

Grisha-"Were not far now, you two. We just have to pass this forest and then we will reach my client's cabin." He said as he looked behind and looked at me with a smile on his face.

Kid Eren-"Well that's good to hear. Because my legs are starting to kill me a little bit." He said as he started to complain about his legs and how far we've been walking for. And I don't blame him for complaining so much. Because my legs were starting to become sore to.

Kid (Y/N)"I can agree with you there... I don't think I walked for this long." I say to Eren as we both continued to follow Grisha from behind. I think we've been walking for well over an hour now, and I'm just glad that were almost there so we can just rest our legs. Anyway... apart from that, over this last year I had remembered a few things about myself like... my name, my age and... the Monster that I had inside of me. I had to watch myself whenever I got angry or when I ever felt my heart rate go up like crazy. Because if I didn't... then no one would be able to stop me. I'll just be this raging Monster, destroying anything that gets in my way. I then shake my head, as I don't want to think of that happening... which won't happen because I promised myself if it ever did happen... I would always keep my anger in check and always do slow breathing whenever I feel my heart, beating like crazy. All of us continued to walk through this forest and if I'm being honest... It's kind of scary, due to how dark it is. There was no sun at all, because there were just dark rainclouds blocking it from shining all over us. But in return... all we got was rain. I love the rain (which I'm being sarcastic about). Since it's my first time meeting this family (and the same for Eren), I kept wondering... what kind of impression should I give out to the family... and their daughter. Because I don't want to make a fool of myself. "Hey Eren, mind if I ask you something?" This gets his attention as he looks over at me.

Kid Eren-"What's on your mind?" He says to me as we kept on walking behind Grisha. Not sure how much longer we have left until we get there but might as well talk to Eren.

Kid (Y/N)-"Well... I'm asking if... you would have any advice about introductions." He looks at me weird. As he just had seen something gross before. "What?"

Kid Eren-"You're asking me that? Just... I don't know... act like your normal self, I guess." That's the only advice that he could give me.

Kid (Y/N)-"Act like me, huh? So, I don't have to act differently when I'm meeting someone new?" I say to Eren, who was about to speak up until...

Grisha-"You don't have to act different when your around other people, (Y/N)." Grisha cut off his son from speaking, as he looks back at the two of us while smiling. He must have overheard us speaking. "It's alright to be yourself. You don't need to put on a good impression on people... all you need to do is just be you. And if you can do that... then the people around you... will accept the kind of person you are." That's... a good way of putting it. I smile at him, as that was really helpful.
