Riley's POV
14 months later.
A/N There is going to be french in this chapter so all of the translations will be in the A/N at the bottom. Enjoy:)
I never thought that liking someone would be so awful.
That's all i think as i watch a certain blonde, blue eyed guy sit in front of me, Peter. Liking someone sucks, especially when he's dating someone else. Every time I see them i get annoyed and mad and just argh. I hate not being able to control my emotions. I know his girlfriend, who is sadly really nice (no real reason not to like her) and they are really cute together. Probably better than i'll ever look with anyone.
Okay wow. Good job Riley.
I should just put a sign around my neck "Pity Party here. Join the depressed"
I really hate having negative emotions towards people and life in general but sometimes i just can't. Or as my french teacher would say "Je ne peux pas"
The bell rings pulling me out of my small pity party. I get up quickly and leave, literally bolting out the door. I find a traitorous tear leave my eye as i start the way back to my house. Walking a little faster, basically running, i find myself in a little clearing in the forest near my house. Dropping my bag i sit under a tree and just cry. Out of sadness or frustration i'm not exactly sure.
I hear a twig cracking and i look up. I find my sister looking down at me.
"Why are you crying?"
Before i can even open my mouth in true Raine fashion she put her hand up
"Never mind. I don't even want to hear it. You've been crying so you got it out now can we go get ice cream?"
she held out her hand with a small smile one her face.
We walk with my sister's music playing towards the nearest Baskin Robins. Which happens to be 30 mins away.
We make jokes and start goofing around. Me ranting about my "problems" and Raine ranting on and on and on about hers. We're two years apart but quite close even if most of the time we don't act like we are.
Raine runs into Baskin Robins, obviously excited to eat ice cream. Sometimes i think she's younger than me. When we sit down me with a chocolate chip cookie small cone and my sister with a double scoop of cotton candy in a waffle cone.
2 girls walked in, they looked around my age, and immediately started to judge us with their beady little eyes. They ordered their ice cream, in english, before sitting down behind us. Then started to talk about us, in french. I guess they were assuming we didn't know how to speak or understand french because they didn't care to be quiet.
"Oh mon dieux. Regarde a ce qu'ils porte." Girl one said in clear disgust
"Je sais! Et elle regarde si depressant. Elles n'a probablement pas de vie social. Girl 2 replied pointing at me.
Talk about being subtle.
All this time me and Raine attempted to NOT burst out laughing. If these girls had a social life themselves they wouldn't be talking about us. Right before we left i decided to maybe, just a little bit, show them up. Since they didn't stop talking about us.
I got up and walked to the cash register.
"hey" i called, trying to get the attention of the worker.
"Oh sorry. Hi what can i get for you?" The cute red headed cashier asked
"Can i use a pen please"
"Sure"
he handed me a pen before getting back to work.
I walked up to the two really fake girls and scribbled with a pen on their napkin.
"Je me pardon mais je ne pouvais pas m'empêcher de surprendre les deux de vous parler de moi et de ma soeur sans arrête. Si vous penser on est si important je pensait que vous deux aimerais mon signature. Et pour ton information si vous deux avais un vie social vous aurait de meilleur chose a faire que parler apropos de nous deux. Merci. Passer un bonne journée"
Me and my sister walk out laughing our asses off. I can definitely tell you that i am now in a better mood.

A/N
Translation 1:
"oh my god. Look at what they're wearing."
Translation 2:
"I know! And she looks so depressed. They probably have no social lives."
Translation 3:
"I'm sorry but i couldn't help overhearing the two of you talking about me and my sister non-stop. If you think we're that important than i thought you two would like my signature. And for your information if you two had social lives that you would have better things to do than talk about the two of us. Thank you. Have a good day"

Hi guys!
i know i really didn't update for forever but i felt like writing and so this came out. Hope you liked it! i actually really like the sass Riley shows in this chapter and how she doesn't think about Johnny yet. But don't worry he's not gone yet. I just don't think it's realistic if she just thinks about him after 14 months. The thing with the two girls talking french actually happend with me and it's so funny to see people's faces when they realize you do speak and understand french.
Anyway,
Stay awesome beautiful and positive:)
