It was just a normal day for me where I just play by myself at the playground, well I don't have any friends but on the same day when I was playing at the sand box a boy suddenly walked towards me.
"Hi!" A boy said happily, I ignored him.
"I always see you everyday at the sand box playing by yourself, mind if I.." The boy asked nicely.
"No.." I replied. I want to be alone.
"Oh, but.." He said, I saw him with a sad face, it reminds me of every time my dad scolded me when I do something that I'm not supposed to do.

"By the way I'm Pete. What's your name?" He asked.

After that we always play together every day, I shared my snacks to him and he also shared his.We keep being friends for months we even promised each other to meet here every Monday at 2 pm.
"Vegas" Pete said.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Can u promise me that we will meet here every Monday at 2pm and stay being friends forever?" Pete asked.
"I promise!!" I said happily.
"How about you? Can u promise me that we will meet here every Monday at 2pm and stay being friends forever?" I asked back.
"I promise!!" Pete said. We were happily laughing at day long.
Everything was going well, we meet every Monday at 2pm just like we promised but one day.
"Vegas!" My father shouted. I was on my room at that day just waiting for it to be 2pm.
"What's the matter Dad?" I asked.
"Why do u have a D on your test?!" He shouted once again. I was so scared that I cried.
"I-I'm sorry Dad." I said while crying my tears out.
"It's because of that kid on the playground right? That's why you lost your focus on your study? And hey!" He slapped my face, making me to cry even more.
"Why are you crying?!" He shouted.
"Vegas u should know this BOYS DON'T CRY only the weak one does, be strong will you? Be like me, and Vegas you are grounded for the whole month." Father said. He immediately left he room.
Grounded? So that means I can't go and meet Pete? Icried and cried the whole night.

All those memories flashed to my mind, making me stunned while looking at Pete.
