Chapter 20:The end?

ONE MONTH LATER

"What?!, No!Pa we agreed that I'm just gonna work here for a month!"I shouted loud in my office, today i got a call from my Father and he told me to work here for one year.I couldn't even survive here mentally for one month and One year?Hell no.

"No, i don't want to stay here for one year."I added.

"But, i already told my business partners, Vegas. Just agree, just this time."He begged.I sighed, oh for God's sake!What the fuck, once i agree i won't even have time to do my personal things. Working in Italy is such a challenge for me, work there, work here, work everywhere.

What i worry the most is Pete and Venice, Pete will think that i just ran away from him and just vanished like an air. I don't want him to feel that. But if i'll say yes, i can let Pete have his alone time in Thailand and he won't have a annoying shitty guy like me, following him around and hurting him mentally.

"Okay, okay. I agree" I concurred.

"Take care"He said and ended the call.

"Fuck"I shouted and threw my phone in the floor with all of my force. My heart wants to meet him but my mind says no.

A YEAR LATER(2023)

"Yes, yes Aunt. I just arrived in Bangkok, See you." I said as i sighed, after a year of focusing in my work. I'm finally back in Thailand, therefore im getting myself ready to meet Pete again.

"We have a surprise for you, Mr.Vegas"One of the maid, grabbed the phone of Aunt and
said. The phone call ended and i was left with my confused face.

While holding my bag walking around in the airport, finding something to eat. I suddenly heard a familiar voice.

"No, no Venice!Don't run!" A familiar voice said while i was turning at my back. And, suddenly a child bumped into my legs.Crying, sobbing.

"Mr.Vegas, you arrived.The subbordinates said and bowed at me."Yes, for a while now.I didn't saw you guys, maybe because i got into the wrong direction"I replied.

"Now, what's wrong with you little guy hmmm."I said calmly while slowly holding Venice up. And i positioned him into my arms, and wiped his tears by my other hand.

While talking to the subbordinates...

"Pap!"Venice shouted, smiling, facing at a direction. Huh?What does he mean by that?

I slowly turned my head and saw Pete, walking towards me. My heart was beating fast, by every step he take.

Venice was moving around my arms, wanting to go down. And i let him, and he emmediately ran towards him.

Fuck!I shaked my head and looked again, it was just my Father!

I sighed.

"Welcome back"My Father said, welcoming me.I put on a unpleasant smile, and hugged him.

While in the car, i kept looking at the window.
Thinking of when will i hug and kiss Pete again?, suddenly Venice asked.

"Pa, hug?"He said with a smile, i got him out of his chair and put in on my thighs, he emmediately hugged me.

After some time, Venice has fallen asleep while hugging me.I tried to move him as my arms are getting numbed but i'm afraid to wake him up.

But, i still keep thinking about Pete.

"Surprise!!"I put on a fake smile when i opened the door of the house, there we're cakes, decorations and more to welcome me back from Italy.My mom emmeditaly hugged me and, i hugged her back.
