Perilla Leaves and Jealousy

It was a sudden decision, Jungkook's friends were inviting him and his lovely boyfriend for dinner. The latter relentlessly accepts the invitation, just because Taehyung looked so happy being /finally/ introduced to the younger's infamous friends.

Jungkook may not want to admit it but he has been lowkey gatekeeping his boyfriend for reasons: one, Taehyung is the younger's first real and proper boyfriend, with a courtship for over 4 months, Jungkook has been the happiest since then.

Now, with Taehyung driving towards the destination where the dinner-gathering would be, Jungkook couldn't stop himself fidgeting on his seat.

This is bad, taehyung-hyung would be attracted to my friends and he would leave me all alone now, this is so bad.

"What's wrong gguk-ah? Are you okay?" The elder says making the younger's inner thoughts disappear, Jungkook now notices the hand enclosing around his, it makes him grounded, but just for a few minutes because now he, too, notices that they have stopped and that they are now at the front of a restaurant.

The younger hums, while unbuckling the seat belt, readying to get out of the car for fresh air but he halts his actions when Taehyung gently holds his wrist, making him sit back down the leather seat. The elder turns off the ignition, he looks at the younger boy "Are you okay?," he has a worried look on his face.

It makes Jungkook feel guilty of his thoughts.

"I'm fine, hyung," the younger grins, showing his smile. Taehyung frowns at the response but lets go of Jungkook's wrist, if his lovely says his fine, then he is fine.

"JK!"

A voice shouts once the couple entered the place making a few people look in their direction and into his and Taehyung's entwined hands, Jungkook shyly smiles as he sits into one of the empty seats, Taehyung joins next to him.

"We already ordered," says Mingyu, while silently greeting Taehyung, the other follows. Jungkook hums, while taking a deep breath, "Guys, this is Taehyung-hyung, my boyfriend," he shyly grins.

The boys howled while clapping both their hands, others were banging the wood of the table, some laughing because of Jungkook's shy greeting, Taehyung couldn't help himself but grin. What a shy baby.

For awhile, they were chatting about their whereabouts until the food came, Eunwoo makes himself the one who grills on one side and Jaehyun on the other. While the two grills, Taehyung picks a few of samgyeopsal and puts it onto Jungkook's bowl, the younger one chews happily.

Jungkook busies himself by eating, and for a while he glances towards his boyfriend before pausing himself.

As a hyung, Taehyung takes pride of taking care of younger dongsaengs, especially his boyfriend, Jungkook, and when he sees Bambam struggling with picking the perilla leaves, naturally, his hyung instincts activated, he puts his chopsticks to help separate the green, as Taehyung earns a grateful smile.

Once that was done, he focused on eating, The elder looked back at his boyfriend to find him, scowling at him.

He blinks, then he raises his eyebrows, as if to ask what was wrong, "hm?—," The younger cuts him off by sassily looking away, as he continues to /angrily/ munching a green lettuce, The elder doesn't know whether to laugh or be concerned on how fast the younger was eating his food, he would most likely choke on one of the pieces of leaves, thankfully he didn't.

Taehyung decided to just continue eating, as he decided to wait for Jungkook to explain himself and cool off, whichever comes first. However, he hears the younger scoff once again when he was about to put a piece of pork on his mouth, and when he helped Eunwoo flip a new piece of pork, so that the younger could start eating.

"Guk-ah?," Taehyung questions as the younger grumpily eats some japchae, "Did hyung do something?" the elder softly says, not wanting to anger the younger more.

"Apparently, hyung has to do everything," Jungkook mutters before his pout deepens, and with that he ignores his boyfriend for 6 months for the rest of dinner. Now, Taehyung opens his mouth, shocked. He glances away catching the gaze of Mingyu, who, clearly, was amused by his fellow friend's reaction before shrugging his shoulders.

The couple got out of the restaurant earlier than the others, because Jungkook had gotten up and headed towards the exit, muttering goodbye's to his friends. Taehyung, who widened his eyes, stood up immediately also saying his farewell while picking up Jungkook's coat and mittens, "As a thank you, I would be paying for the meal," the elder says, voices of disagreement immediately erupted making Taehyung shake his head, "I am really thankful for meeting my boyfriend's dear friends, so let me pay," he insisted, in the end, the rest of the guys said their thanks and with a promise to pay next time.

Taehyung shivers as soon as he exits the restaurant, the younger, however, seems to have plenty of heat despite only being in a tight, thick turtleneck and a pair of black trousers. Jungkook was standing on the right side of the car, where the passenger seat is, he was looking around as if searching for something and when it landed on Taehyung, he scowled and crossed his arms, looking down.

Cute.

The elder sighs in relief, before running towards him and immediately wrapping the younger's coat on him before grabbing both of his hands, who are now cold to touch, "What's wrong, darling?," Taehyung asks, while putting on the mitten on the younger, "You're slow," he muttered.

"I don't think that's the reason," Taehyung says, as he faces the younger, noticing that he wasn't pouting as much anymore, "first, let's head into the car," the elder leads Jungkook towards the Black SUV.

It was quiet for a while inside the car, "Jungkook-ah?,"Taehyung says, as he looks at his side. Jungkook makes a noise before looking away, as if more fascinated at the clear black sky, the elder carefully makes one of his hand towards Jungkook's, entwining it, thankfully the younger doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

"What's wrong, darling? Can you tell me?," The elder asks softly, "Nothing," Jungkook whiningly said, weakly trying to pull away.

"Okay," Taehyung says before leaning back into his car seat, looking outside the window, it's starting to snow, the first snow after Jungkook had officially agreed on dating him. He breathes deeply, it's not a fight, they weren't fighting, they were okay before dinner, Jungkook seemed fine agreeing to dinner.

A sniff got Taehyung out of his own thoughts, he looked at Jungkook, "Darling, I don't know what I did wrong but Hyung's sorry, okay? Please forgive me, baby," then there was silence. Jungkook silently muttered something and unfortunately Taehyung hadn't heard it, "What was that, baby?," still looking at the younger.

Jungkook takes a breath, "Don't leave me," he says.

"Darling, I wouldn't dare to," The elder says before squeezing their entwined hands, and that seems to assure the younger because a minute later Jungkook had look back up at him with determined eyes, "and don't ever ever help someone separate perilla leaf ever again," Taehyung opens his mouth, before recognition settles in him, and his mouth slowly form into a grin.

Jungkook pouts at the reaction, "I won't forgive you if you laugh, hyung-ah," Taehyung tries to bite back his smile, "noted, darling."

"Let's go home, I'll cuddle you to death," that seems to brighten Jungkook up, and if the sweet giggle the younger had let out wasn't enough, the sound of smooch of his lips to Taehyung's cheeks seems to be it. 

End.

- Heyyy, I am back! but i would just come on wattpad every once in awhile and update, school has been a pain in the ass now  that i am almost out of it finally!!!! 

I hope you like this drabble! it has been a while since i wrote and when i saw jk being pouty on how you shouldn't help someone separate perilla leaves unless its your partner makes me want to squish the hell out of him, how can this human be so cute , anyways! thank you for still reading my oneshots haha, this also unedited!! just posted it once i am done with writing it
