My Heart Beats only for you

[unexpected part two of affection]

taehyung is in the hospital. 

last minute he was in the basketball court dunking for a shot, then the next thing he knew he was in a hospital bed with an injured ankle. the doctor said he'd have to stay for at the hospital for a week just to be safe, the school and his parents agrees knowing that once the basketball player step foot on the court he would never stop. taehyung is fine with it.

except for one small, tiny tiny issue.

everytime his lovely boyfriend, jungkook would visit, taehyung's heart monitor begins to beep louder. for taehyung it was /fucking/ embarrassing, damn it. for the cheer boyfriend, he finds it absolutely adorable. 

the first time jungkook had walked in, taehyung was talking to hoseok, one of the friends the basketball player feels comfortable with. once the elder notices that jungkook was their his the monitor beeps moderately fast, making hoseok and jungkook alert, the dancer pushes the emergency button right beside the basketball player's bed.

they only found out the reason why, hoseok and his boyfriend teases him about. and a few more of hiss hyungs teased him too, when they visited.

it's only two days left for taehyung to be completely discharged, when jungkook emerges from the entrance of his hospital room.

the sound of beeping noises becomes a bit clear, "baby," jungkook giggles softly, dropping his school bag. placing a take out bag on a table and dropping his ⁠—taehyung's university jacket he has been wearing for the past few days. 

"calm down,"

the basketball player sunk back against the pillow, cheeks flushed with embarrassment, the monitor beats steadily. "i am calm," he mutters, closing his eyes, breathing in and out. "just⁠—,"

"just don't come any closer," the cheerleader grins taking out the take out food to the table, dropping the carton bag on the floor, "like this?, jungkook takes a step forward, making the elder shut his eyes open, and glancing towards the younger.

beep. beep. beep. beep. beep. beep.

the younger takes another step forward, until there was no space between the bed and his body. his bare thighs came in contact with the soft mattress of the hospital bed, his white cheerleader skirt sits prettily right on top of taehyung's forearm.

beep. BEEP. beep. BEEP. beep.

jungkook bursts into laughter, while taehyung groans, feeling the hem of his pretty boyfriend's skirt. "guk-ah," the elder whines, "this is so embarrassing," he says lifting his hands, hovering them over his face. 

"it's cute, love," the cheerleader teases more, as taehyung's cheeks grew more flushed. jungkook watches him with a thoughtful expression, he was quiet for a moment. hm i wonder, he thought.

before taehyung could speak, the younger leans forward and pressing their lips together, getting ready to straddle his injured boyfriend.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. 

the sound of hurried footsteps rushing into the room had them pulling apart, the cheerleader's right leg on top of the white mattress. jungkook straightened up and looked innocently at the nurse that had ran inside. she looked concerned and confused, when her gaze went from jungkook to  taehyung  —whose breathing heavily, a hand on his heart and cheeks flushed.

"um, jungkook-shi, it might be better to let taehyung-shi rest," she says flustered as if she had just witnessed something not holy. the cheerleader scrunches his nose, "m' sorry, Nurse Lee," the nurse shakes her head, she exits the room with a soft smile. 

jungkook takes a seat beside the basketball player, "is this how you truly feel?" he whispers, "does your heart really quickens when you see me?," he held taehyung's hand that was near him, fondling it.

"why would it not?, i love you, guk-ah and my heart only beats for you and only you," taehyung softly smiles, as he caress his boyfriend's soft cheeks, slowly his heart monitor starts to beat loudly.

jungkook almost, almost tears up. he doesn't know what to say, taehyung loves him. he imagine the times taehyung looks at him, imagining how the elder's heart would beat for him.

"i love you, too," he says before the taehyung's monitor starts to beat faster, making them burst into giggle.
