Chapter 1: Nyx's MV

| - A few days later, Nebula Production's Office - |

*Shano POV

I was working on the files in my office. And then, I a notification popped up on my phone. I looked at it and I saw Hikari, or should I say DJ Nyx, uploaded her first MV. I looked at the title of the song.

Shano: "Hated by life itself..."

Shano: "She chose one heavy sentence as a title."

I placed my earphone on my phone and I clicked the play button to see the MV.

After I watched the MV, I was certainly impressed, Airi told me that Hikari worked on the song ALONE, from composing the song, to making the lyrics and video. But...

Shano: "You are lonely aren't you, Hikari? Even though you may act tough on the outside, you're crumbling on the inside, right?" I said with a serious face while looking outside of my office window, a nighttime in Tokyo, where the light of the city brightened the dark sky.

Shano: "I wonder now... What will the future bring to her?"

| - The next day, Yoba Academy - |

*Third Person POV

The next day, DJ Nyx's very first MV became the number one topic at Yoba Academy, even during lunchtime, many students were talking about it, and many of them even forget that today was the announcement of the result of the latest remix contest. And as for Hikari, she was somehow being dragged around by Rinku to eat lunch together.

Hikari: *thought* ("Why am I here...?") she questioned herself as she sat at a round table between Rinku and Maho as both Rinku and Maho faced each other.

~ Flashback ~

| - A few minutes ago, Yoba Academy 1-B - |

Hikari was about to do her usual routine until Rinku approached her.

Rinku: "Hikari-chan!!!" she called her with enthusiasm.

Hikari: "Ah, Aimoto, what do you want?" 

Rinku: "You can call me Rinku!!"

Hikari: "Calling someone you just know by their first name? I'll pass on that."

Rinku: "Aw~ Even though I already called you by first name..." she said with a disappointed tone.

Hikari: "So, what do you want?"

Rinku: "Let's eat lunch together." she said as she dragged Hikari to the cafeteria.

Hikari: "O-Oi, I haven't agreed on it yet!!!"

~ Flashback End ~

Hikari sighed when she thought of what happened in the classroom, and then Hikari took a glance at the nervous Maho and the happily-eating Rinku.

Hikari: "Hey, you." 

Maho: "Y-Yes???" Maho nervously answered Hikari.

Maho: *thought* ("Rinku!!!!! What are you thinking when you invite her to lunch?!?!")

Hikari: "What's your name?"

Maho: "A-Akashi Maho..."

Hikari: "Oh. Amano Hikari, I think that you might know me with the rumor and stuff."
