*Third Person POV
Yukiko: "Because we are the same, from the bottom of our hearts, we want to disappear, more than anybody else in the world."
Hikari: "..." Hikari looked at Yukiko with earnest eyes.
Yukiko: "I can see it very well through your music, and I can connect to it very well."
Hikari: "Can I ask you something?"
Yukiko: "Go on."
Hikari: "You said that you can relate easily relate to my song, why?"
Yukiko looked away toward the distance with a painful face.
Yukiko: "My mother passed away when I was seven..."
Hikari was surprised when Yukiko decided to tell Hikari about her past.
Hikari: "I-I'm sorry for your loss..."
Yukiko: "Thank you."
Yukiko: "Since then, my father hasn't been the same, when my mother was alive, he was a compassionate and loving man. But after she died, he became colder and emotionally distant towards me."
Yukiko returned her gaze toward Hikari and continued her story.
Yukiko: "I believe that you are aware of Nakamura corp?"
Hikari's eyes widened when she noticed something.
Hikari: "Don't tell me, you're the daughter of Nakamura corp?"
Yukiko: "Yes, Nakamura corp is the biggest conglomerate group in Kyoto. My father used me as the company face for years since my mother's death, I've been a puppet for as long as I remembered."
Hikari: "What the hell?! That's fucked up to treat their child like that!!" she said furiously.
Yukiko: "I kept fulfilling his wishes, until one day... When he set up an arranged marriage between his future business partner's son and me..."
Hikari: "So, that's why you came here to Tokyo?"
Yukiko: "Yes, before we departed for Tokyo, I heard my grandfather argue with my father about something, and after that, my grandfather came to my room and asked me to come with him, and here I am."
Hikari: "..." she was silenced for a while after hearing about Yukiko's past.
Hikari: "After hearing your story, I think I should tell you mine..." she said with a sad face.
Yukiko: "..."
Hikari: "I came from a normal family. Father, mother, and an older sister. My sister has been their favorite child, they never give a shit about me."
Yukiko: "So, do you hate them?" she said with a cold voice.
Hikari: "My parents? Yes, but I don't hate my sister. Heck, I love and care about her. She's the only one who cares for me and supports me from behind."
Hikari closed her eyes and clenched her fists as she thought about her parent's negligence for a while and then she looked at Yukari with sincere yet painful eyes.
Hikari: "Hey... I know I didn't get through what you did, but..."
Hikari: *sigh* "Sometimes, I want to feel how is it to be loved by your parents."
Yukiko smiled and walked to Hikari and held her shoulder.
Yukiko: "Being neglected by parents isn't something you can underestimate. Like I said, we are the same, even though we've been through a different pain and suffering."
