4. Rest Day

Munwar pov:

 After a long time I had proper sleep. In LU especially towards the end I was not able to sleep at all. I was extremely tensed and equally excited about the finale. There were also lot of other reasons for my sleeplessness but they have been added to my long list of things which keep me awake at night, things which I don't want to think about .

I was not worried about waking up late today, because I had no plans as such. I looked at the time and it was just 2.00 PM. I was disappointed in myself for waking up so early on a rest day. I was just thinking about going back to sleep when Sadakat entered the room.

Sadakat: Good Morning Bhai!! finally u r awake.

Munawar: Nahi! I am going back to sleep. If anything important comes up, make sure that u don't wake me up.

Sadaqat: Bhai!! This is not the time for jokes. Have u forgotten? You have to go to Delhi for the meeting regarding your next project. (he said that while waving the flight tickets at Munawar)

Munawar was surprised to hear this, he knew there was an important meeting coming up in Delhi, but he did not remember the date of the meeting. He wasn't sure what exactly was happening. He knew something was fishy, but he didn't want to argue as he saw him waving the flight tickets.

Munawar: When is the flight? When do we have to leave?

Sadakat: Right now!!!! I have packed everything u need, you just have to get ready and we will leave for the Airport.

Munawar was a bit irritated with how things turned out. But anyways he got ready and left for the airport in cab. Finally he got some idle time to browse his Social media accounts. He hadn't checked anything since coming out of LU. He knew his following had grown, yet he was surprised to see how much love he was getting online. Seeing all this love from fans, he felt that he had to do something to show them his gratitude. So he announced that he will come live on Instagram at 10PM tonight. He also noticed, that he was tagged in a lot of Munjali stuff. All this reminded him that currently he is on his way to Delhi where Anjali lives. He was wondering whether he should meet her. He decided that it was anyways too soon and after being away for so long first few days must be dedicated to be with your family.

At Anjali side:

Anjali had morning flight, she was pretty tired from the party last night. She didnt get much sleep because of that, but it didn't matter. She was looking forward to go back home and meet all her loved ones. Anjali always had a huge following online, but the love and attention she was getting now was unbelievable. she had become a mainstream celebrity now, previously she considered herself more as an online celebrity. But now seeing herself in mainstream media articles and with veterans of the industry like Kangana mam and Ekta mam made her feel proud. Even though she didn't win the show, she felt like she had won as she had earned lot of love and also learned a lot of things from the show. 

She also noticed that mostly she was tagged on Munjali stuff by fans. She knew Munjali was popular but didnt expect it was this big outside. She saw there were countless fan pages dedicated to every little thing or inside jokes they had.  While going through all these fan pages she fell into the Munjali rabbit hole and started binging on clips, fan made music videos, etc,.       ( We have all been there 😉 )

She was surprised to see how just the normal everyday stuff they did looked so cute and entertaining. Like their yard walks, night conversations about nothings,  silly fights about stuff she can't even remember. She also noticed in the clips how much she had changed over the course of the show, initially she hardly talked or interacted with anyone and by the end she was definitely one of the most active contestant who always took the initiative. She knew that her bond with Munawar was the major reason for her growth, he was able to bring her out of her shell and be fearless.

Back to Munawar POV:

 We reached airport. At airport I could see Bubby waiting. Then I looked at Sadakat.

Sadakat: It was all her plan. (Pointing towards bubby).

Munawar: That's okay! but what's the plan?

Sadakat just pointed towards bubby and kept his lips sealed. He gave the tickets to bubby and left telling us to enjoy. I gave bubby a hug and asked her

Munawar: what's going on? where are we going?

Bubby: Just on a short trip, you'll see.

She was not showing me the tickets, so I was not sure where we were going. .

Like I said last time I have not thought ahead and have not decided on some critical things. That's why I dint want to make any major irreversible story points as of now.

Not yet sure whether Sky will be part of the story, that's why I had kept Anjali's part vague.

Mostly next chapter will be similar. But by Saturday I will decide for sure.
