The Boy In The Flower Shop-Chilli (Childe x Zhongli)

"What did he say?" Hu tao asked in excitement. Zhongli handed Hu Tao the phone. "Hehe, your one step closer to getting a boyfriend." She laughed. Zhongli sighed grabbing the phone,"Yeah I don't think so."

He stared at the screen wondering what he would say to Childe when they meet. Would he apologize again? The thoughts hurt his brain. Zhongli looked over at Hu Tao."I'm going for a stroll, you can eat dinner without me okay?" She nodded in reply. "Text me if something happens." Zhongli said while stepping out of the door.

He shut the door and looked up at sky. It was so quiet. The silence seemed familiar to him, but he didn't know why. Zhongli walked along the sidewalk observing the small cracks and trash on the concrete. He noticed the flower shop Childe owned. Zhongli couldn't help but frown. He thought about all the horrible things he said to Childe. "How can I face him." Zhongli sighed.

He stared at the shop for some time and saw a figure of a person standing by the shop. Walking over, to have a closer look, he saw a certain tall man. The man had ginger hair that could be recognized even with only the moonlight. Realizing who it was, Zhongli tired to quickly walk away. "Not now, not like this," he thought.

"Zhongli?" The man's voice called out. Zhongli turned his head and gave a awkward smile. "Um what are you doing out this late?" Zhongli laughed at the question. "Late? It's only 8pm, that's not that late. Either way why are you out this late as well Childe?"

Childe smiled, "Oh me? I just left something at the shop that's all." The familiar silence was once again there. Childe tapped his foot, hoping it would do something. "So um really weird question but have you had dinner yet?" Zhongli shook his head no. "Do you want to might as well move the dinner we planned to today?" Childe suggested.

"That would be fine. Truth be told I hadn't made the reservations yet." Zhongli said having a look of embarrassment. Childe bursted out laughing. "Oh my God, haha your so silly. Anyways should we just get take out?" Childe scratched the back of his head waiting for an answer. "What for?" Zhongli asked. "So we could eat at my place." Childe's face flushed. Zhongli chuckled at his response. "Oh. If that's fine with you then let's do it"
