Chapter 3

Jason's POV

I turn my head from the window to see an old lady with long silver hair.

"Hi Mona, I wasn't expecting to find you here"

"I wasn't expecting to find you on a hospital bed but life always finds a way to surprise me"

I laughed as she was giving me a hug.

"Do you need me to take care of that knife of yours?"

"I think I can manage" i said as i pull the knife out and the wound closes instantly.

"Here, let me put a bandage on your shoulder or someone is going to start asking questions about you. One of those days you have to tell me your secret Jason"

" Not today Mona" i said as she nods

"I recommend you stay and rest for a while dear. You can not go out of the hospital yet..Alphas order's"

"I don't follow orders Mona"

"I know dear but please give them a chance. There are some kind people here. I remember
when you came to the pack that held me prisoner. I never forgot that night..i never thought that someone could defeat an entire pack all on his own.."

"Times change" I said and looked her in the eyes "I will stay here a little longer. I am starting to get a little curios about Alpha's daughter now"

"You never change do you.. I will tell them that you feel better now"

I walk to the window as Mona exits the room. It is certainly nice to see old friends. But for now I am curios about this pack. It's an old pack an it was quite large back in the days but now seems a lot smaller and the warriors don't seem to be very strong.

I am a little different than the rest of them. My wolf is not a different conscience or as they say I don't have a wolf living inside of me. I can turn but I am the same person as my wolf is.

Nowadays i prefer to stay low. Not because of fear but because i find it better this way.

My toughs are interrupted by a knock on the dor.

"Come in" i said.

The door opens and there stood Jane. I took my time to have a good look at her. She is gorgeous. Sometimes i wish i had a mate just like the rest of them has. But I guess i am not like the rest.

"Why aren't you in bed resting"

"I feel better now"

"Ok , if you say so. But the doctor needs to check you before you get out."

"She already did that but she said that Alpha ordered that I stay inside"

"Oh forget about that. Come, let me show you around and then we will take you to meet the Alpha. By the way what pack are you from?"

"I don't belong to a pack"

"Then you are like..a rogue?"

"I am not a rogue either. Just think of me as a lone wolf"

"Never herd of a lone wolf but we can leave it like that for now"

She took the lead and we exist the room and after that the hospital. We were walking slowly along the street as I saw 10 black cars in a row heading towards the pack house.

"Oh shit" she says " i forgot that this is the day that we receive de royals visit. My father will meet them but I have to be there too. I am sorry but I can't take you with me. You are not part of this pack. You know what.. just wait here please. I will send someone to keep you company"

And then she run in the direction of the pack house.

What a funny little one she is. I wonder how old is she. She looks about 20, maybe a little older.

I wonder who these royals are. Long time ago there was only one king, and that king is not on the throne anymore. He had 3 generals and as the legend says the king and these generals were immortals. Maybe one of them is among these royals. I should really take a look. What's the worst that could happen.
