"What do you mean your grace." Henry asked clearly feeling nervous. "Well you see Henry, I know full well that you hide in that dirty secret storage. And I know that you always hide there so the chances of you being out of there especially when I come to inspect the library is basically 0%." Technoblade said his voice exposing his hostility towards the cow beast hybrid.
"Well, on the off chance you aren't hiding anyone in there then you wouldn't mind showing it to me. After all I am here to make sure no spies are left unseen." Technoblade continued clearly suspecting Henry of being a traitor. I mean it is true but come on Dream and Tommy just recruited him.
Technoblade's footsteps came closer and closer till they stopped presumably right in front of the bookshelf. Tommy felt his heart drop at the realization that he'd be caught. He didn't want to go back. No he shouldn't feel this way. He isn't the one who suffered Thomas was! Dream took ahold of Tommy's hand and when the secret door finally opened the sound of shattering glass averted Technoblade's attention from the two inside the hiding spot.
"Well, well, well if it isn't the shape shifter and the duck hybrid. I thought giving that scar to you would of kept you from doing something like this again." Technoblade said his voice sounding slightly manic. The secret door wasn't fully opened so Technoblade couldn't see the two inside, on the contrary Tommy could see Technoblade very clearly.
His face had a few scars on it and his expression was blood thirsty to the point it made Tommy's stomach drop. "It seems that you weren't expecting them. I guess you weren't hiding those two who just broke the window." Technoblade mumbled seemingly annoyed.
"Hey! We can still fight you Technoblade. We aren't weak. You just caught me off guard last time." Quackity yelled clearly pissed at Technoblade's statement. "Hah we'll see about that!" he laughed as he lunged towards the two.
After a few seconds Henry let Tommy and Dream go. "Now's your chance to escape." Henry whispered. It seemed as though the three had moved outside for the fight. Tommy nodded and waved goodbye, then the two quickly and carefully got out of the mansion. Of course they signaled to Quackity and Karl before doing so that they wouldn't need to damrag on the fight for too long.
Once the two made it back to the alley they finally caught their breaths. "Too close." Tommy mumbled in fear. "Yeah. I agree." Dream said as he switched his smiley face mask to the black one.
"Let's just get out of here." Tommy mumbled. "Agreed." Dream replied as he crawled through the hole. As Tommy prepared to follow him his arm was grabbed. He yelped as he was turned around to see the very familiar face of.... Shroud???? "Thomas!" Shroud exclaimed with a wide smile. Wasn't this the spider hybrid that Thomas took care of after meeting him on chance one day.
"Tommy? Is everything okay?" Dream asked from the other side of the wall. "Y-yeah. I just met an old friend." Tommy replied. "Tommy? You go by Tommy now? Is it cause you got kicked out?" Shroud asked as he tilted his head slightly to the side. "Yeah, but anyways it's been a while Shroud. How's life as a noble?" Tommy questioned with slight worry. Why was he worried? This is the first time he'd met Shroud. "It's okay I guess. Anyways who's that?" Shroud asked as he pointed behind Tommy.
"Oh that's.... Clay! Yeah that's Clay." Tommy answered with a slightly forced smile. Why did the name that first came to his mind have to be Dream's actual name? "Clay huh. Nice to meet you. I'm Shroud." he introduced as he offered a handshake to the taller one. "Yeah. Nice to meet you too Shroud." Dream answered, taking the offer up as he shook the younger ones hand.
"So.. Where have you been lately dad?" Shroud asked with a malicious smile. "I- I told you I am an older brother figure not a father figure you asshole." Tommy was clearly flustered over the nickname. "Pffft- hahaha I can't believe that you still get flustered over that nickname Tommy. Man you should of seen your face!" Shroud laughed but not in a mean way. It was like two close friends who teased eachother alot.
