PROLOGUE

Prologue

With trembling hands, I clicked the sixth-floor button. Kinakabahan ako habang tinatahak ang elevator papunta sa condo ni Noah.

"I hope this will work." Bulong ko sa sarili ko habang tinitingnan kung anong oras na sa aking wrist watch. It's already middle of the night and I only secretly escaped from home. Sana naman ay walang makapansin na umalis ako ng bahay.

Noah Mason has been my boyfriend for four years. And I was glad that he was up for my plan. We were happy, all right, and I am ready to give up my entire planned life to be with Noah. Why not? I am already at the perfect age to marry.

There is no backing out once I reached the sixth floor. Thirty minutes earlier, he told me that he's already waiting for me, so he left the door opened. Papasok na lang ako sa loob.
