Naomi brushed her silky black hair and gazed at herself in the worn deprecated mirror. She used to believe that she wasn't as pretty as everyone else, yet her current girlfriend Carolina Joyce convinced her otherwise. Still, there was no time to even think about Carolina or their ugly breakup. Naomi was trying hard to get into the Navy. Her parents were taking her to Indy today for the two-day orientation. Naomi would spend the night in a fancy hotel, and then be shuttled in a crowded bus to Orientation. I cannot tell you what happens at Orientation though for that information is protected. What I can tell you is she failed. Big time. Now she faced getting kicked out of the only house she had ever known.
