Adventures of Aberforth and Matilda

Matilda Dumbledore

Matilda started to go to Hogwarts, Albus, her uncle kept an eye on her. He was also one of her teachers during the school hours.

Albus also called in Newt to get a better picture about Matilda. Between her and Newt hit it off because they have the same love about creatures. For Matilda she is in a world than she has delt before. Everything was new to her and specially getting control over her magic.

At the school she found it hard to speak with people her own age, but she had Benjamin. When classes were done Matilda walked to the village back home, where her father is. Between them they started an father and daughter relationship. Aberforth saw his only daughter as a blessing. And where he can not lose another child of his.

Matilda told her father about her days at the school where he also told her about his youth when he went to Hogwarts.

A few months in the ministry of magic came to a school that was close to Hogwarts to announce a special event. Something so magical that it will be written down for all history. The headmaster of the school opened the doors for this special event, and accepting a few schools around the world to stay at the school for the time being, and one of those schools that would be staying was Hogwarts but only the students of age could take part.

This event is a wizard tournament, to win the cup and claim all glory. Since Matilda is not of age she did not leave with the other students that were chosen. But Albus did go with other teachers. Matilda continued on with her studies and helping her father at Hog's head in the village. Matilda was happy, in the first time in her life she is happy. But things are going to change in the next few days.

Meaning that the wizard tournament is a tool to get Matilda Dumbledore. The school that is somewhat close to Hogwarts listed the champions for the tournament, and that should be it but no another name was listed, Matilda Dumbledore. This was news no wanted to hear, Albus quickly went to hog's head to see Matilda. Question her to see if she put her name out there but when Albus arrive Matilda was asleep. Aberforth was looking at him like a mad man. Albus told the truth to Aberforth. Where Aberforth knew Matilda would have not do any of that.

So it came to that someone put her name out there. Albus was trying to get his niece out of it but he could not, she is binded until the tasks are completed. Matilda is scared out of her mind. She does not want to do this. But she has to.

These tasks that were designed where hard and cold beyond belief. Matilda was up against students that were older than her, even though she is from the house Gryffindor she has no friends, no one to cheer her on. But her uncle and father were there. Months on end tasks after brutal tasks Matilda was in second place.

The last takes was simple get the cup first then you win. But there are troubles at even turn. Do not let your guard down no matter what.

All of the champions enter the darkness having no clue where to go but they had one thing on their minds. The cup. One after another where fighting each other with spells. Like they were losing their minds. Matilda steered clear of all of that. She moved throughout the darkness until her eyes landed on the cup. She looked around to see if anyone was around and she found none. She just wanted everything to end, she does not care about winning. When she was close to the cup ready to touch another champion was there already. Both Matilda and another student touched the cup at the same time and they were supposed to end back up at the school but no.

They ended up in dreadful place, there was fog, the place felt off.

" Are you alright?" Henry said. The other student from another school than Hogwarts.

" Yeah. You?" Matilda said

" I am. Where are we?"

Matilda looked around to see where they were but her thoughts ended by Henry.

" The cup is a port key" Henry said

Matilda smiled. But then she was hit with a spell out of the fog. She landed on the ground hard. Henry saw it happen, and he got his wand ready for a duel.

He could not see the person with all of the fog. The unknown person said the death curse to Henry.

Where it should have killed him right away but no.

The spell traveled towards Henry but clear as day was heard "No!".

Matilda raced in front of Henry blocking the death curse with her bare hands, her magic stopped the death curse in mid air. Matilda held the death curse in the air before throwing it back at the unknown person giving her time to bring the cup to Henry so they could escape. But that did not happen, only Henry was able to escape where Matilda was thrown back hitting the ground again. Where the unknown man stood over her showing his face. Making Matilda know her worse fear has come back to haunt her.
