And so the pair humbly walked through Karis apartment door into Karis home. Drew had never seen this place before as Kari had lived at Drews just before living here. It was sudden and emergency moving as Kari was registered homeless for a while, somehow was prioritized by the government and givin housing only weeks after moving out. Everything was still in boxes, its been years but.. he never really unpacked. The hall was clear, no pictures, murals or anything. Just plain council white walls with underlay as a carpet. The livingroom was no different just it had a single couch and a footrest, behind that lay boxes behind boxes, some of which Drew had helped to pack up, even the box he weote the silent word of "sorry" lay sad. In said box was a few gifts Drew had bough Kari years prior. Drew didnt know if Kari knew, nobody did, exept kari.
The kitchen seemed no different untill you opened one of the top cupboards to see a wide variety of tea, ranging from cheap poundland teabags to expensive, award winning, professional tea brewing kits.
Back in the living room Kari sat on the couch, drinking the tea he had barely drank that morning. The cold brew resembling exactly how Kari was feeling. Drew sat on the footrest and asked:
"Whats the operation?"
"A miracle"
"What do you mean?"
"Its impossible"
"...to being tea to life yes, but-" kari cuts him off
"I have an idea! Youve seen they videos of the chicken eggs... Right???"
"Thats exactly what i was gonna say before you cut me off"
Karis eyes shimmered in the light of an idea, and so he ran to the fridge to get an egg but all he found was a single milk carten that he had accidentally left opem that morning so now it stunk like frick."We need eggs"
