Part 2 of 'The freak' - as always, I hope you enjoy it!

Getting out of that room brought happiness to Stella's face as a sly grin painted onto her pale skin. Finally, she was free from two periods of English. All she had to get through now was science and then art (which wasn't so bad as she was fond of drawing, keeping an art book on her at all times). Grasping an A4 slip of folded and already crumpled paper out of her man-sized pockets showed her what and where her locker was.

Before getting there, however, Stella admitted to being a little distracted by a notice board sticking out like a sore thumb in the middle of the crowded corridor. It was full of colour and had things sticking out all over. She wondered why this thing didn't have a hazard sign, someone could get a serious papercut. Her eyes rolled around the board but the first thing that caught her honey eyes was band. Stella knew instantly this meant trumpets and flutes and not guitars and drums but she signed up for it anyway. Fitting in with something as basic as band could get her to blend in pretty well with this new society. Another cluster of leaflets were pinned against their will on the cardboard. Science - boring, Sports - Who would choose this?, Parties - That could work... but it would make her stick out even more and finally D&D - What even was that?

Her curiosity peeked so she went to the room that was suggested on the sheet and found it to be a dark door, nothing a school should have in its building. On it was a disturbing sign of 'Enter the dungeon and face the drangons'. The cringe voice in her head read it so she instantly knew this was a nerd thing. Might be right up Stella's alley. Her hopes were rising to finally have something to do, however, reading the moss stained sign again, she noticed some fine print 'Experienced members only'. "I see you're interested?" She turned on her heels being startled by a boy her age. He spoke with a lisp which frightened her even more.

"My names Dustin." He gargled. Stella took in his outfit. Deep blue shorts, yellow T-shirt with a logo she had never seen on it and a matching yellow cap with a green rim. His hair spoke for itself - sticking out in all different directions as it was too curly to be straightened and cut. "Stella-" She chimed confused and he replied instantly "So, you want me to teach you the art of D&D?"

I'm sorry this is so short, I gave up for a bit because I lost half this chapter and had to rewrite it. Plus I just came out of an exam... Enjoy
