"It says experienced members only..." Sherri pointed out the rude sign and waited for a response. "Oh- Eddie put that there to mess with newcomers. I can teach you if you like?" A toothless smile took over his face indicating excitement so she had to say "Sure". After all it did benefit her. "One question..." She finished with a raised eyebrow.  Dustin looked from the door to her "Shoot" he whistled with his fingers in the air mimicking a gun. Stella saw him as childish but funny so she learnt to choose her words carefully. "Who's Eddie?" The name spat itself out as she wasn't used to saying words beginning with 'e' and she'd never met anyone with that name before.

From behind her came a smooth sarcastic tone as the words "I am" floated into her ears. Spinning to find out who it was got Stella sweating. This new person was... she wasn't sure what he was. Rings owned his fingers, a devil and some weapons that read 'hellfire' on his shirt and covering the sleeves were two jackets. One denim and one leather, it was a dangerous choice but worked with the skinny black jeans.

The most noticable feature was his hair, thick and curly - it looked like something out of kiss - she didn't say anything though. "I see you're shocked, heard about me or something?" He peered down at the girl before opening the door to his lair. “No… I just heard about all of this. I didn’t even know you existed until now.” Eddie turned after stepping into the dark room and pulled a cheeky but offended face at Sherri. She squinted at him and waited for a response, however, Dustin started blabbering “You know if you really wanna play we ca-”. Eddie zipped the boy up with a overly-dramatic hand gesture to his face.

Pulling the same squint back he whispered “Come on in then M’lady…” Inside was a big dining table full of dollar store Halloween candles, silk sheets, tavern cups, crystals laid out in random orders, figurines on a huge map in the middle, and a folder at the end seat. Eddie sat where this black and red folder lay and opened it to a page that was marked with a silk red bookmark. “Don’t tell me… we’re restarting the campaign roughly to show her how it works?” Dustin took obvious offense to the idea, starting a whole campaign over again wouldn’t mess with their professional gameplay but he didn’t want to go over it again.

Nodding slowly, Eddie looked over to Stella who had already found her way halfway across the room. In her hand was the crystal of Thunderite. He rushed to yank it out of her small, soft hands. “Ah-ah-ah... No touching.” She rolled her eyes at him as he sat back down, putting the crystal back where it had originally been. He started off by introducing Stella to all the different dice and what they do, a bunch of black and red dice stared into her soul as he dashed them at her. Rolling the highest numbers on each one. Then Eddie started to get into a small game with Dustin, explaining how a dungeon master worked and their roll to D&D and the impact they have on the characters. Stella watched them play for three whole periods, missing out on science.

She didn't see it as a problem though as she didn't really  like the school and art was after that. The rest of the day was her daydreaming about D&D and who Eddie was, he was genuinely a freak...
