Casey's pov

I find it hard to sleep sometimes. I sigh, and plug in my earbuds to my illegal phone, trying to keep it hidden. Music often helps me sleep. Makes it easier I guess.

I close my eyes, and soon, I can feel myself drifting off.

**In Casey's dream**

I look around me. I'm in a empty room, dark, but with enough light to see. In front of me stands a red-headed girl around my age. She motions for me to come forward.

"Help me," she whispers.

I reach for her, but as soon as I touch her, she recoils.

"Get me out of here!" she screams. "It hurts!"

I look around, trying to look for a way to help her, but there's none. Every time I try to reach her she just gets further away. "Where are you?" I ask her.

Tears spill down her eyes, and she says, "I can't say. They cursed me so I couldn't give out any information. But I reached you. You're my last chance! Please, help me!"

I open my mouth, but before I can say anything she disappears.

**End of dream**

I wake up with a start. I rub my eyes, and wonder if it was real or not. I decide to wait, and ask my friends about it later.

I quickly get dressed, and head to the hall for breakfast. I smile nervously at a few other Gryffindors, and try to pick out a seat between Tilda and Daisy.

"Hey Case! Um, this is my friend Mercy!" Tilda exclaimed as I sat down, introducing me to a older girl sitting on her other side.

"Hi," I say.

"Hello," she replies.

"You ok?" Daisy asked me. I shrug. "I don't know. I had a odd dream." She frowns. "Could be a few of the  Slytherins joking around. Or it could be serious."

"I don't know, I hope it isn't serious. It looked really bad."

"Then hopefully it isn't." Tilda pipes up. "But if it is we need to investigaaaaaaaate!"

Daisy facepalms. "Drama Queen."

"Why thank youuuu!"

"Y'all are so weird," Layla says, smirking. "But you're cool,  which is why I keep you around." I grin. "Such a surprise."

"I know right?"

"C'mon guys, let's just eat!" Tilda says. "We're gonna run out of time." I nod. She has a good point. I've often chatted too long and then the eating period is over and I haven't eaten.

"Glad one of us has sense," i chuckle as I grab a bagel and a a glass of orange juice. She wiggle her eyebrows. "I know riiiiight?"

"Y'all are idiots." Daisy says, and then attempts to get up. "Heeeeeey where ya going?"

"To go clean up, why?"

"Can I comeeeeeeeee?"

"Tilda."

"Pleaseee."

"I love you, but no." Daisy then tries to walk away. Tilda still follows her. "But I love you means you're never ever ever getting rid of me."

Daisy sighs playfully. "Fine."

Layla and I laugh as we watch them walk off.

**

Afterwards, I head to my first class, potions. Before Snape arrives, Layla and I just mess around. She sticks her tongue out at me and I grin. I gently shove her.

"Casey and Layla! Stop messing around! Ten points from Gryffindor!" he orders, scowling at us. "Keep pushing it and it'll be 20."

We nod.

"Ok class, now  we will be doing the Aging potion. You will all need to get:

Newt spleens, banana, one orange snake, and one green leaf"
