TILDAS POV
It was finally Saturday! I love the weekend. No work, no homework, no Snape, just food and friends. I wake up to see the clock and it is 8 AM. Breakfast only began at 7, and ends at 10. I tip toe out of my bed, trying not to wake up Mercy, who was sleeping soundly next to me with her adorable dogs Jonathan and Curly Fry snuggled in with her. Jonathan was at the foot of the bed, wearing his famous stitch onesie from Lilo and Stitch, and Curly Fry was up in Mercy's face snoring soundly. In the left of me was Layla, who wasn't in her bed. That's weird. Layla always sleeps in till like 11 and misses breakfast so me or Merce have to bring her some. I walk toward the bathroom, which was in between the two female dorm rooms. There was also one in between the male dorm rooms. (Like a jack n Jill bathroom). I walk into the bathroom with my outfit for the day which was a Gryffindor T shirt, some grey sweat pants and my white Nike runners. I see Layla at the sink doing her hair.
"Morning tills!" She says cheerfully
"Morning Lay. You're up early. That's new, "I said chuckling
"I wasn't that tired I guess" she said shrugging and putting her elastic in to hold her French braid.
"Imma hop in the shower" I said as we kept on having small talk back and forth for the next little while.
When I got out of the shower I saw mercy was awake, and she was dressed. She was wearing blue jeans with a white sweater and white Nike shoes like mine.
"TWINZIEEESS!" I said to her
"Yassss" she replied back
Her hair was down, and it was wavy from the day before. She was wearing her round glasses that looked just like Harry Potters, apparently she was his 2nd cousin, which was amazing and super cool! She has so many stories of when she was younger that he used to tell her about his time at Hogwarts. She even learned some spells before she came here. Which explains her A++ in charms. No one has ever gotten that, it is only for professionals who have a future in charming. Which even Dumbledore said she does which is FREAKING COOL!!
Anyways, we all head to breakfast and as we walk down the floating stairs we see Sophia and the Ravenclaw gang.
"HIIIIIIII!!!" Sophia says hugging me tight
"Soph... can't.... Breathe" I say struggling
"Sorry" she said, releasing me.
I loved how Sophia was always so cheerful and happy. She was truly an amazing friend to have.
Mercy makes her way over to Sophia and the two make small talk as they walk a few steps ahead of us.
They have been literally best friends since they got here. Layla joins them as she also is one of mercy's best friends. I think she is just besties with everyone because she is so kind and fun to be around.
We all go our separate ways as we dive in to the food in front of us.
Waffles, pancakes, fruit kabobs, muffins, cookies all of it! We even can have chai tea!!
"Guys, what drinks did you order?" I asked my friends.
"Chai tea latte, duhhh!" Mercy says. I laugh and high five her for her amazing drink taste.
"I just got lemonade. Its freshly squeezed from the lemons out in the field!" Layla gushed. I laugh again, she's hilarious.
After breakfast, we all head out to the lake, with our pets as well. our dogs run around, chasing sticks and looking for food, and our owls fly around in happiness. the rest of our pets do what they do best; sleep. lazy animals.
For the rest of the day we chill at the lake, and around 3 we head back because of dinner, and hanging in the library.
Sophia, Layla, and Mercy sit in the swing chairs, reading books.
Soph picks up a how do learn DADA fast and correctly, as its her fav, (soph, im sorry if its not ur fav)
Layla reads about the creatures of Hogwarts and Hogwarts history.
Mercy reads about types of wands and what type of witch/wizard they choose. she always wonders why the rarest core of all wands chose her, (Jackalope Antler core).
the book reads that her wand core chooses natural born leaders, fearless and brave witches/wizards, and charmers.
Anyways, Daisy, Casey , Riley and Grace sit at the tables, trying to figure out a prank to pull on Snape on Monday.
Noelia, and I just sit on beanbags and chat small talk.
"This is the best year. I am going to miss this." I said sadly
"Me too. Maybe we can come back and take an extra year or volunteer to help new students or even take a professor course!" Noelia said, trying to brighten the mood.
"I don't think Ri, Daiz or Cas can be professors, hey prank Snape too much, he will surrender if they are teaching here." i laugh
"True, true. What about Soph? Or Merce? Layla? They'd be good," Noelia responded.
"Soph would teach DADA, Merce would teach charms or transfiguration, and Lay would teach flying or herbology. Maybe. IDK" i said back to her.
This year is amazing. I am going to miss this.
