Ashlyns POV:
One night at about nine I was having a lot of trouble sleeping and I was on the verge of having a panic attack. I couldn't stop thinking about how many missing assignments I had. Staying up late didn't help plus we had finals soon. It was all to much and I was overwhelmed. My parents weren't asleep and they only could understand about half of the reason I'm so stressed (the other half being because of the phantoms). Then I thought about Aiden. He didn't live too far and he understood. With that I pulled on some black fluffy socks, some sandals and I left. I just ran.

Aidens POV:
     I hear the doorbell ring.
"Ben?!?" I yell, insinuating I want him to get the door. I hear no response so I decide to do it myself. I hop down the stairs skipping some steps for the fun of it and open the door. There I see Ashlyn. He eyes were red, and a bit puffy. She was wearing a green short sleeved shirt that read 'army' and some black shorts as well as socks and sandals. I realize she's shaking so I grab her wrist and pull her inside.
"It's freezing out there Ash." I put my arm around her as we walk upstairs. "What were you thinking?" She sits down on my bed and I sit next to her.
"Uhm...." She sniffles. "I- well I wanted to see you and uhm-" I look get up and start looking through my closet.
"Wait, wear this." I toss a black sweatshirt with one of the names of the schools I used to go to on it. She nods and does so. I put a blanket on top of my heating vent to warm it up for her and plug in my moms heating pad.
     "Thanks. And sorry." She apologizes.
"No need, I do dumb shit 24/7" she giggles. "But please, be more careful next time." I hear another knock and I get up to see what it is. I open my bedroom door and there's Ben. He peeks in and looks confused.
"She ran here. In the cold." He nods and puts his pointer finger up.
"One?" I ask. He nods again. "Mkay."
"What was that for?" Ashlyn asks.
"He said one. I think he meant one minute." In about a minute he comes back with tea and hands it to Ash.
"Thanks Ben." Ben nods and smiles. He then leaves.

Ashlyns POV:

I was feeling fine, I had mostly forgotten what I was stressed about and I was overall feeling better. Then Aiden asks,
"Did you do the homework?" We're facing each other sitting criss cross applesauce. I lean forward and rest my face on his shoulder.
"Hey, it's okay, I'll help." I can hear his smile in his voice. I place the tea down on his coffee table thing next to his bed. Now my hands are resting in my lap. I think of everything at once and it overwhelms me. Tears well up in my eyes
     "Shit." I say, shakily.
"What's up?" He asks his hand now on the back of my neck rubbing his thumb right under my hairline.
"It's too much for me right now."
      "Hm?" He hums. "Why?"
"I- I'm failing like everything because- 'cause I allways sleep in class 'cause of those fucking phantoms and-" Aiden grabs my hands and moves my head to where I'm looking at him.
"You're going to be okay. I am here and I allways will be. You also have Logan, Tyler, Ben, and Taylor." Tears fall. And more follow them. "You're not alone." He reminds me. I choke out more sobs and eventually he calms me down. I fall asleep.
