(Picture is Jitka) (pronounced YIT-KAH)
It was the spring morning of the new year.
Sophomore year.
Jitka was nervous he was always nervous before classes at the beginning of the new year.Nervous about who he would sit with and how they would treat him.
Luckily he got his favorite literature teacher, Mrs. Vandore.
"Good morning Jitka!" Spoke Mrs. Vandore vibrantly.
"Hello Mrs. Vandore... Is there a seating chart this year?" Asked Jitka quietly.
"You know it :)" Responded Mrs. Vandore
"Table 9 on the right hand side." She said right after."Thank you," whispered Jitka.
He then sat down and started organizing his class materials thankful his seat partner wasn't next to him yet.
He stared at the window and then at the door just in time for a group of students to walk in.In the very back of the group a students a much taller student trailed behind and stopped to look at a poster.
Mrs Vandore wasn't happy about that and quickly called him over, "Hello I don't think I've had you in my class before... What's your name?" Scoffed Mrs Vandore.
"Oh, uh it's Elio.", "Elio Thompson." Said the boy quickly.
"Yes, yes I see you on my class list. Your table nine, left hand side." Spitted out Mrs. Vandore.
"Look at that Thompson your in the table behind me! I'm table 7 right hand side." Said a boy grinning.
This boy was also from the football team, Jitka could tell. Muscular and was wearing the schools football fundraiser t-shirt.
The boys name was Jackson but everyone called him Jack.
Only because he was a Jack ass.*Oh great.* Jitka thought.
The boy softly walked over and set right next to Jitka.
"Hey." Said Elio.
*He looked as if he had to force that out* Thought Jitka.
"Hey." Jitka responded.
*Jesus that was weird, I hope he doesn't think I'm weird now." Elio thought to himself.
