"oh hey y/n" benny said. i felt like even more shit once i saw them holding hands. i just gave him a small nod and started to walk away.
"wait Y/n!" benny called out and i turned around."we decided to come here alone since you were gonna be here, you can join us if you want?"he said. is he being serious right now? 'if you want'
"no thank you, benny. i don't wanna join you guys on a date I had planned. that would be so disrespectful" i said sarcastically with a fake smile and walked away with my tote bag. that was supposed to be our spot and he just takes another girl there where we were supposed to have OUR date.
"well atleast we have it to ourselves" i heard cecilia say. i just scoffed.
i was about 30 seconds away from the place. i turned to look at the road and saw a familiar car. it was bennys moms car. i was able to see his dad driving. he pulled the car over and celeste poked her head out of the window. "want a ride?" she asked. i nodded yes and got in the car.
"thank you so much" i thanked them as i buckled my seatbelt. "why aren't you with benny honey?" his mom asked and i told her everything that happened.
"i guess we were wrong about rasing him right." his mom said. "i'm so sorry" she then added. celeste saw how badly i was doing. "hey mom is it okay if Y/n spends the night with me?" she asked out of nowhere .
"oh sure let me call her mom." she said picking up her phone and clicking on my moms contact. "hey y/m/n (your moms name) is it okay if Y/n stays the night with celeste. yeah something happened with her and benny and celeste wanted to her her mind off of it. oh no i believe she's doing fine. okay thank you. we can drop her off in the morning" she said hanging up the phone and smiling at me.
my mom texted me and asked what happened and of course i told her. i was surprised she even let me stay the night.
"we're here" his mom said and we got off. "girl we have to get your mind off of this." celeste said as she dragged me upstairs into her room. she turned on some music and started singing. soon i joined in too.
i actually can't lie this was pretty fun. the music was quietly playing in the background when celeste was placing a face mask on my face. once she finished we both sat down, sang, and ate the snacks i packed for mine and his date.
suddenly someone barged into the room. "what the hell did you do to mom? why is she so mad"
"i didn't do nothing" celeste responded calmly.
"why didn't she let cecilia stay for a while? dude she straight up said no and told her to go home?"
"i wonder why" she responded. i just laid there.
"what the fuck do you mea-"
"are you retarded benjamin?! you have a whole ass perfect girlfriend for you and you decided to go with some ugly ass sewer rat?! is that how we do things around here? your hurting Y/n benny! open your fucking eyes and get out of my fucking room" Cecilia yelled. i was speechless. i was surprised her parents didn't yell at her for saying bad words or for yelling.
usually if she were to say a small bad word quietly they would get her introuble. i guess they really do like me. "fuck.." benny grumbled into his hands.
"benny watch that mouth!" his dad yelled. he was confused once his dad said that.
"y/n i'm really sorry! i didn't see it that way!" he pleaded.
"get out benny, now!" celeste yelled and pushed him out of the room locking the door behind him.
Bennys pov
i really messed up. how fucking dumb in the head am i? i could possibly lose the girl that i love most right now. i knew i should've never gone with cecilia. but she told me how sad she was because her uncle died. and how she would wanna hold hands because she wants to feel safe because of how sad she is because of her uncle.
i texted her that i had to leave since my game was starting in 30 minutes and she said, "i'll be there!"
then she was glued onto me the entire time. i asked Y/n if she can come with us but Y/n said no. how did i not realize she was mad over that.
now that i think of it, cecilia's uncle probably never even died. i gripped my hair and ran inside of my room closing the door behind me.

Bennys mom walked in with 2 small bowls with ice cream in them and some cookies, god i love her. "i made you girls some snacks" she smiled at us. we thanked her for them of course.
"when i saw benny come in with cecilia i got so disgusted. i told him, 'no benny she can't stay it's too late you need to go home.' i obviously had to be nice but i was holding myself back" she laughed.
we all know how badly his mom can be with stuff like this and im glad she is calm right now. "i should probably go check on him" she said before heading out.
me and celeste finished our ice creams while we were watching the movie. benny came in and stood by the bed. "Y/n can we please talk?" he begged. celeste rolled her eyes at him. "sure.." i said and got up.
"what do you want?" i said right away as i entered his room.
"im sorry Y/n please forgive me" he said. " forgive you for what? for letting her be all over you after your game and you not telling her anything? i'm your girlfriend benny and you let her push me around like that?! what kind of a boyfriend does that.?" i tried my best to stay calm but failed.
"benny you clearly don't know that she thinks that you like her more than that. in fact, maybe you should be sorry because i don't know if i want to do this anymore benny..."
"Y/n please i'm sorry love. i don't know what i was thinking" he scooted closer to me on his bed and started holding onto my waist. i felt a little bit of water on my shoulder.
"i told her she was my girl best friend because she said her uncle died" he informed me. "that was probably a lie. i'm pretty sure if she was sad about that she would've been crying and would've never showed up to your game" i told him. since most people aren't super happy after a death. i pushed him off of me and sat a bit further .
"just please don't go" he told me as he stated full on crying. that's exactly what i did. "goodbye benny" i said and got up with tears falling down my cheek
i got mad because she pushed me out of the way, she kissed his cheek, she laughed when she found out i was his girlfriend, and was all bitchy towards me. and he didn't do anything about that.
am i being dramatic?
"Y/n please! wait please! i love you!" he yelled.
i paused in my tracks for 2 seconds and almost tuned around. i was just a couple steps away from the bed so that made it easier for him to run up to me.
he hugged me tightly and kissed me for 4 seconds. "don't ever leave me i love you way to much for you to just leave me" he said and kissed me again.
of course i kissed back. i couldn't resist. yeah it turned out into a mini make out session. we both pulled away since we couldn't breath. "don't even scare me like that" he said as he rested his forehead on mine.
"then next time don't do what you did. or else i will leave you" i joked and we both laughed. "let me go tell celeste that we're fine. before she yells at you again "
i opened his room door to go tell celeste. i opened the door to see his mom and celeste listening to our conversation.
"uhh. there's no need to anymore?" she questioned and we all laughed.
A/n: i was going to make Y/n actually break up with benny but i know you guys need your happy endings😭
