Its dark out but you can hear the waves of the ocean. So loud you can barely hear your own thoughts. Thunder roars in the distance "I can't sleep like this.'' Helen moves her head and grabs her blankets and flings them off her body. she sighs and looks around in the darkness for her eyes too adjust. her hands reach for the wall to guide her out of the room. " Ahh its cold! Where are my slippers?" she turns around towards her bed reaching her feet under to feel if her slippers got tucked beneath . " Oh thank goodness I need you." she quickly puts them on then continues to feel and makes her way out of the room through the darkness.

Helens eyes finally adjust to her surroundings she opens the door it makes a loud crack when she opens it. looking back biting her lower lip, hoping she didn't wake her bother she sighs in relief. "I just need some fresh air...and its just a beautiful night tonight." as she see's the thunder storms bright flashes of lighting fill the sky, she looks on too see the village below her house was on a hill. her home is small but big enough for her and her brother Niko to live peacefully. Though Helens favorite part about living on the top of this lonely hill is the view. you can see the tree's and the stone walls of homes, shops and her favorite place the tavern, lantern lights fill their small world.

Thunder roars on getting louder making her blood pump through her body. Helen spreads her arms wide as a smile spreads across her face. Her legs carry her too the town. joyful like a child running down the hill she starts to slow down her foot almost twisting causing Helen to fall. "shhhhhhiiierrr!!!" Helen yells while trying to muffle her strange sound. "By the gods that hurt." she whines to herself, though she has to be quiet women aren't allowed to roam by themselves at night, its frustrating but it can be dangerous.

Still the rule breaker she is she sets off through the village hiding in the shadows making her way through. laughter and singing can be heard from inside the nearby tavern. The tavern has the greatest food and ale also the towns wine, is one of the best in the entire province.

though the village is small its pretty prosperous. the land in this area unlike the rest of the Greece this lands soil is great to grow crops. Some say that this land is truly blessed by the goddess Demeter. Helen frowns as she passes by the tavern, maybe next time Niko and I can go and eat and drink there...would be nice. but she hurries on. the clopping of her slippers hitting the ground comes to a stop as she reaches the end of the village.  The forest was dark and looming the trees were cast in shadow almost pitch black their branches looked like the horns of pan himself. as she walked the noise behind her from the village seemed like it completely went silent in an instance an unnatural quiet. Helen felt a chill run through her body but all of a sudden she could hear a man singing coming from within the forest . Helen turned to try and go back home but when she tried she suddenly  found herself in the middle of the forest. no longer at the edge of town.

The thunder storm had seemed too almost disappeared completely.

Helen eyes widen as her chest tightened, she couldn't believe what was happening. Was she dreaming she wondered. This is too weird and nothing good could come from this. Just then as she was lost in thought she heard the singing of a man appear once more. the man's voice was deep and soothing....haunting. it was lovely. The young woman almost entranced in this tune couldn't help but feel as though she was being preyed upon, witch was the only thing stopping her from completely being bewitched. There had been nothing insight but the trees standing all around her.

Until a tall man stepped out of the shadows his face chiseled, his body was broad and muscular. His singing stopped dead in his tracks as soon as he spotted her. Helen stared her eyes narrowed watching intently. "Why hello beautiful lady, what are you doing out so late? Especially in the middle of the forest. Helen clutching the sides of her white stola that clung to her voluptuous hips. her eyes darted but managed to calm her self as she breathed in and out. As she lifted her head and stood firm, "I was drawn out by the storm, though this almost seems like a dream. Didn't mean to come this far into the forest at all." Helens brows furrow as she touches her chin in thought. "How did I get here?"
The man laughed then grinned the corners of his eyes crinkled. "Storms bring adventure I suppose, still a woman out here on her own its dangerous. Would you have me walk you home?" his hands rest on his hips as he patiently awaits her reply.
