Chapter Sixteen ~ Friends

~Morning~
Sasuke woke up, went outside, and finally read the paper Itachi gave him.

'My little brother, it's been a long time, how about I pay you a visit? I think that's fun. And I heard you have someone in company at your house. I want to meet her, Uzumaki Karin, right? Have you stole her from Orochimaru? You sick man. Anyways, just be ready, maybe you'll see me inside your house, or outside your house. Sasuke remember I'm everywhere. -Itachi'

Sasuke just stared at the paper, frowning. He didn't cared at all. He just crumpled the paper, then threw it somewhere else. Karin woke up. "Karin." "Sasuke. What's the problem?" Karin asked in confusion "Nothing." "With that face, I'm sure you have a problem. Tell me." Sasuke then scratched his head "I read the paper, my brother, he said that he's going to come here. But I don't know when, he said he'll go here anytime." "Really? What if I leave the house first?" "No, you're staying here." Sasuke laid on the floor, facing Karin. Karin turned too, now they're facing each other. "Don't you think it's time to forgive your brother?" Karin asked "What he did was unforgivable. Sometimes I wish that he just killed me with my parents." Karin laid her hand on Sasuke's cheeks "Then I won't have you." Karin said. Sasuke just smiled. Sasuke and Karin sat outside, and... "Sasuke, look, a crow, why does it have a red eye?" Karin said while looking at the crow, Sasuke pushed Karin away from the crow. Sasuke tried to kill it, but it just faded away. "Why did you pushed me?! And why did you try to kill that crow?!" "You stupid. That was my brother's crow." "Who is a stupid man that uses a crow for a jutsu?!" "Probably my brother."

Days passed by, Sasuke was waiting for Itachi. Sasuke was always seeing his brother's crows, but he didn't care. Sasuke remembered something that he needs to do, say something to Sakura. "Karin, can I meet Sakura?" "Sure." "Thanks, I'll be back soon, just lock the doors, or go outside. Ja!" Sasuke went to Naruto's place first. "Naruto, can you please tell Sakura that I'm going to talk to her?" "Sure. Where?" "Can we talk here at your place?" "Uhhhhhhhhhhhh. Fine, whatever." "Thanks, Naruto." Naruto went to Sakura's place, but Sakura wasn't there.

Sakura's P.O.V.
Sakura was outside her house, going to Naruto's place. "I'm going to please Naruto to let Sasuke go to his place." Sakura said to herself. Sakura reached the place. And when Sakura opened the door... "Sasuke." Sakura said "Sakura." "Wait, where's Naruto?" "I thought he was with you? I sent him to your place so that we can talk." "About that." "What is it?" Sasuke asked "I'm sorry about being mad at you. It's just... It really hurts deep inside of me." "I'm sorry too Sakura. I'm sorry that I can't repay the love that you gave to me. I really love Karin. I love you too, but only as a best friend." "I know, Sasuke." Sakura hugged Sasuke real tight, Sasuke hugged her back too. Sasuke kissed her forehead, then Sakura let a tear fall off her eye. Then Sasuke let go of Sakura, letting Sakura cry harder. "Friends?" Sasuke asked "Friends forever." Sasuke then went outside Naruto's place.

Sasuke's P.O.V.
"Sakura, I'm sorry. I loved you too, but not as a friend. But I don't have the courage to tell you. You're too late, I have Karin now." Sasuke said on his mind, trying not to cry. Sasuke then reached his place.... He saw Karin, fainted. "Karin!" Sasuke screamed "She's a pretty strong girl, Sasuke, good choice." Someone said from behind, Sasuke's eyes grew wider then pulled out his sword. "What have you done to her?! Itachi?!" Itachi then smirked "Only sharingan. And gave her a few wounds." "What do you want?!" Sasuke asked "I just wanted to see you, and meet her." Sasuke closed his eyes, and then activated his sharingan. "Sasuke..." Karin said "Stay put, Karin." "What 'stay put'?! You should go sleep longer, Uzumaki Karin." Itachi threw a kunai at Karin. "Sasuke?!" Naruto screamed from outside. "I was the one who killed her parents." Itachi whispered into Sasuke's ears then faded away. Sasuke just kneeled, looking at Karin. "Karin, I'm sorry." Sasuke said "Sasuke?! What happened here?!" Naruto asked "Itachi." "Itachi came here?!" Sasuke just nodded at Naruto's question "Sasuke." It was Karin. "Naruto, please take Karin to the hospital." "Sure. Sure."

Naruto brought Karin to the hospital, and Sasuke was left at his house. Sasuke was wounded at the face, blood was falling from his face, then he wiped off the blood. "Why am I acting like this?! It's just Itachi! Am I scared of him?! No, this can't be." Sasuke said to his self. Sasuke rushed to the hospital. "Naruto! Where's Karin?!" "She's fine now, Sasuke, don't worry." Naruto said "Thank goodness." "Sasuke." Someone said from behind, it was Kakashi, with Sakura. "Kakashi-San. I'm sorry." Sasuke said "What are you sorry about? I should be the one saying sorry." "Why?" "I misjudged you. So... I'm sorry."
"Enough drama. Where's Karin?" Sakura said "She's okay now." "Thank goodness." Kakashi said "Where's her room then?" Sasuke asked "Oh about that. I think she isn't allowed to have visitors yet." "What kind of hospital is this?" Kakashi said. Sakura went to the front desk, asked where Karin's room is. "Have you asked already, Naruto?" Sakura said, frowning "Hehe. Sorry." Naruto said, scratching his head. They headed off to the room. Kakashi saw Karin, wounded. "Wait. What happened to her?" Kakashi asked "Itachi did this." Sasuke answered "What?!" Sakura and Kakashi screamed "Sasuke.." Karin, she woke up "Karin. Kakashi and Sakura is here." Sasuke said "Hey what about me?!" Naruto added "I can see you, stupid. And I know that you were the one who brought me to the hospital. So, thanks." Karin said to Naruto " "Wait, wait. Why was Itachi here?" Kakashi asked again "He said he just wanted to see me. And meet her." Sasuke answered "Wait, that's it?!" Kakashi exclaimed "Sasuke, was that your brother?" Karin asked, Sasuke nodded. "Wait. That is an invalid reason. There must be another reason why Itachi went here." "Kakashi-San. Stop it." Sakura said, irritated at Kakashi "Sorry. But I'm going to find out what was the reason Itachi came here. You know, I'll go home for now. I'll come back tomorrow. Ja!" Kakashi left the room. Hours passed, Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura was sleeping, Sasuke was right beside her, holding her hand. Karin kept on thinking about what happened earlier. "So he's Uchiha Itachi." Karin said to herself "Karin?" Sasuke woke up because she heard Karin was talking "Sorry did I woke you up?" Karin asked "No." Sasuke answered

Itachi's P.O.V.
"Uzumaki, huh?" Itachi said to himself "Oi, Itachi, how's Sasuke?" A voice came out of nowhere. It was Kisame "Fully grown up. She even has a girl living in her house." Itachi said to Kisame "Wow. He really has grown up. Who's the girl?" Kisame asked "An Uzumaki." "What's her relationship with the 9 tailed beast?" "I still don't know."
"Uzumaki... Katarina."

Sasuke's P.O.V.
"How will I say this to Karin? My brother killed her parents." Sasuke said on his mind
