Once Naomi had left for the store, Cam and I started packing a cooler. We filled it with beer, water and some snacks to last us all day. Meanwhile, Miller was getting the towels and beach chairs packed into my Jeep. I had suggested we take my Jeep so we can take the top off on the drive there.

I carefully placed my camera in its designated bag. Miller brought his guitar. Cam double checked we had enough beer.

I looked at Miller, "Wanna pack rods and do some fishing?"

"I hope I catch a hot chick." Miller replied.

"In your dreams, Miller." I said.

We soon all went upstairs to get changed and do last minute things before Naomi got home. I changed into a faded red pair of swim trunks and topped it off with a fishing t-shirt. Soon we heard the familiar sound of Naomi's car pulling up which forced us all down stairs and out the door.

"I'm just gonna go change, be right back." She said not even sparing us a glance.

When she came back, she had changed into a large t-shirt that I knew was one of Cameron's old surf shop tees. I noticed a white bikini strap poking up from the top of the shirt. Her blonde hair had been thrown over her should into a sloppy braid.

"Ready boys?" She asked. I threw my keys to her, she caught them before jumping into the front seat.

"You sure you're comfortable driving my Jeep?" I asked her.

She pulled the lever to bring the seat up, practically making out with the steering wheel now.

"Just had to make sure I could reach the pedals." She beamed, turning the car on.

She fixed the mirrors, then plugged her phone into the auxiliary cord.

"Woah woah, I'm pretty sure the passenger is in charge of the music." I leaned over trying to grab the aux cord. She only lifted her hand, stopping me from continuing.

"Ah no, driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole." She said in response.

Cam let out a laugh, "She's got you there."

"Who the hell said that was a thing?" I asked. Such bullshit.

Naomi scrolled through her playlist, "I'm just repeating the wise words of Dean Winchester."

"You're kidding me right," I shook my head now looking towards Cam, "You're taking advice from Supernatural, a fictional show."

I didn't get a response, the only sound in the car now was Cage the Elephant's Cigarette Daydreams.

Naomi pulled out of the driveway, and we started off towards the beach.
