Spring
Luke has made me stay by his side literally all day. I mean I'm beyond grateful that I have such a loving caring best friend who is very protective over me, but sometimes it's too much for me.
"Are you paying attention," Luke questions as he hits me with a skittle. I give him a look and furrow my eyebrows at him.
"Yes I am Luke."
He throws another one at me, "Hey!" I try to grab his skittles from him and I fail miserably as they all fall on the floor.
"Great Job Summer, you let it all fall," he scoffs. I open my mouth not believing he is blaming me for his mess. He bends down on the floor and picks each of them up.
"You shouldn't have been throwing skittles at me."
"You should've been paying attention to me."
"Luke, I was paying attention to you, I just didn't care enough to process it," I tell him. I roll my eyes as him as he gives me a look.
Calum walks into the hotel room with no shirt on, his muscles expose and sweaty. I can't help but look at him up and down and lick my bottom lip slowly.
I think I'm staring too hard because Luke coughs a little, and Calum smirks a tiny bit but hides it quickly as look shoots him a glare.
"Spring, do you think you can help me here?" Calum moves his right hand and is waving it for me to go to him.
"S-Sure!" I quickly get up and stand next to him by the couch. "What did you need help with?" I smile softly at him.
He hands me some lotion from bath and body. It's the stress relief with eucalyptus mint mixed in it. "Can you massage my shoulder for me please? I just worked out and it a little tense," he pouts. "It would help a load if you could." He gives me these puppy dog eyes again.
Luke coughs again, obnoxiously making me turn to him, "yes?" I ask. He looks at Calum than at me.
"Interesting." He gets up and walks away and lays on the bed. I give him a look and he just ignores me.
As I rub Calums shoulders I can't help but think about the way his shoulders are so broad, big, and so hard. I just want to lick his neck and give him small kisses.
"What?" I hear Calum laugh. He turns his neck slightly making him look at me half way, "you said something."
"Did I?"
"You said, mmhmm as you were rubbing my shoulders." I feel my face heating up immediately. I know for a fact my face is red as a stop sign. I can't believe I let myself think those things about him.
"I-I don't think I did," I stutter. I stop rubbing his shoulders and wipe my hands on his arms. His arms are humongous and hard, the muscles are tense. Makes me want to give him kisses and have him engulf me in a strong embrace.
"Are you done eye fucking him?" My thoughts interrupted by the sound of my best friends hostile tone. My face starts to feel a lot more flush; I look down and try to calm down so I am not as red.
"Luke, don't be an asshole," I hear Calum say upset. "Your comments are fucking sounding like a douche bag," he says as he gets up to put his shirt on.
"There's no need for you to be in our hotel room asking for a massage." I look up and he's sitting up from the bed, his phone down. "You can get out of my hotel room and go into yours." He points to the door and I see Calum glaring at him as he gets up and starts to walk.
Before he exits he looks at me, "Thanks again Spring, it felt good." He winked at me and my face turns red once again from Calum.
"Let's go out sometime." He smiles before walking away. He closes the door and I look at Luke and I throw the pillow on the couch right at his face.
He throws it back harder at my face and i end up making an 'oof' noise. "I can't believe you just did that!" I grab a pillow and begin to scream in the pillow.
"We had a promise," he reminds me. I roll my eyes at the small rule he made when I came on tour with him.
"You made it a rule Luke, not a promise," I scoff. He sits down right next to me and shrugs.
"Promise, rule, either way it's the same." He pushes himself off the couch and puts his hand out for me to grab. I slap his hand away and cross my arms while looking away.
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Fall, just hurry up so we can go get some food because I'm hungry," he pouts and rubs his stomach. I'm so tired of going with him everywhere, I just want to sleep in.
"Do I have to go?"
He looks at me a little frustrated, "Can you please just go?" He throws his jacket at me and I look at him confused. "Put it on."
"If you love me Luke you won't let me go," I beg as he pulls my arm and forces me up. I push my weight down on the couch further and he pulls me more aggressively.
He stops pulling me and looks me dead in the eyes, it's like I said something that made him stop and think?
It was silent for a few seconds before I cave into following him. "Fine, lunch is on you then." I grab my sunglasses and the sweater he told me to put on.
"I'm going against my will," I huff as I stomp to the door. He giggles slightly and I turn back at him with a smile.
"Something funny bestie?" I cross my arms as he opens the door for us. His lips turn slightly and he waves me off.
He grabs my arm and wraps his arms around mine, almost like he's a body guard trying to protect his most prized possession.
I can't say I'm hating it, because I am loving every second of it.
