"Ms. Lux gising na po"
Arggghhh
"Ms. Lux gising na po kayo baka malate kayo"
Napatingin naman ako sa nagsalita. Si emi pala. Isa siya sa mga maid namin sa dito sa bahay. Inutusan siguro ni mommy para gisingin ako.
Napatingin naman ako sa alarm clock. Wala naman akong narinig na alarm nagigising naman ako pagnaririnig ko yun.
7:06AM
"Huh? 7:06 palang emi, 7:30 ako nagigising bakit mo ako ginising agad?"-Tanong ko sa kanya.
"Pinapagising na po kayo ng mommy niyo sa baba ms. lux"-Sabi niya sa akin at umalis na.
Weird...
Naligo na agad ako at nagsuot ng uniform. I guess i have to go to school early today. Kinuha ko na ang bag ko at laptop tsaka bumaba sa dining table para mag almusal.
"Hi honey"-Bati sakin ni mommy. Kiniss ko naman siya sa cheeks bago umupo.
"Goodmorning too mom"-Sabi ko at kumuha na ng pagkain.
"Right i'm sorry to wake you up early but i have something to discuss with you"-Sabi ni mommy kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.
"I'm all ears"-Maiksing sagot ko at kumain na.
"Remember our family dinner the other day where your dad discussed expanding the law firm?"-Sabi niya. Tumango naman ako.
"Well the lurier's family is your dad's ideal partner but it's so hard to get an appointment with them"-Sabi ni mommy.
"Hmm why?"-Tanong ko.
Kilala din ang law firm ni dad dahil madaming magagaling na lawyers dito at mataas ang winning rate.
"Well lurier's law firm is the best law firm not just here in the philippines but also in different countries"-Paliwanag ni mommy.
"But our law firm is one of the best too"-Sabi ko.
"Yeah but they're out of our league"-Sabi ni mommy.
No, it can't be.
Pinaghirapan ni dad mapalago ang law firm niya.
"But i heard that the laurier's heir is studying at your university too, she's currently enrolled in law school"-Sabi ni mommy.
Napaisip naman ako sa sinabi ni mommy. Laurier huh. Wala akong kilala.
"Oh really? I don't know her"-Sabi ko at kumain na ulit.
"Say lux, can you help your dad? Just talk to the heir to get an appointment if you can but don't pressure yourself honey if you can't dad can change he's target law firm"-Paliwanag ni mommy.
Tumango nalang ako at pumasok na.
[University]
"Laurier?"-Tanong ni michelle.
"Uh-huh"-Sabi ni jessica
"I don't know anyone with that surname"-Sabi ni alyssa at bumalik na sa pagbabasa ng libro.
Nandito kami sa garden sa gitna ng law school at med school sa university. Lunch break namin at may 45 minutes pa bago ang next class namin.
"Sounds familiar let me think"-Sabi ni hyoh.
Napatingin kaming lahat sa kanya. Tinigil ko naman ang pagpapaikot ng ballpen ko sa kamay at nilagay ito sa lamesa.
