The Amp screeches before it calms causing everyone to cover they're ears. "Shoot I'm sorry guys, my shit has been awful all week." The girl with messy short hair shouts as she lowers the volume on the decorated box connected to the electric guitar. "Sapph it's ok, just have it fixed by our next practice." Naomi the shorter girl says walking away from the drums.

Sapphire packs up her guitar into its case then puts on the backpack straps. "Will do. Oh and rosaline before I forget my dad wants to know if your dad and him are still on for bowling night." She says to the tallest of them with the curly hair. "Yeah but he's changed the time to 7 instead of 6 cause mom wants him to eat dinner instead of cheep beer."  Rosaline says.

"Ok, and by the way you sounded great. And Naomi I'm going to come by next Monday to help you with history. Bye guys." Sapph says as she runs away to the nearest bus stop. Her family only has one car that they share. Today it was her dad's day to use it and since he's working the late shift he wouldn't be able to pick her up.

The bus stops right as she gets to the spot it picks her up from. As she waits to get home she looks out to see the stores of Hawkins ice cream shops, electric companies, and a lingerie store that her best friend dragged her into once upon a time. She looks at people who are familiar and unfamiliar Mrs. Haris who feeds the stray cats, Michelle who graduated last year, and a shady looking man who walks out of an alley way. She counts the amount of people on the bus, leave and enter.

And lastly during the end of her trip she repeats 'I was made for lovin' you' by kiss for the millionth time on her trip home. When she gets off the bus she waves a good bye to the driver. This was routine for her. It's rare that she ever does anything differently. But on the occasion that it is different it's because chrissy is with her. Her best friend is the only reason she hasn't left for college yet. Despite her longing to leave Hawkins to go live her own life, she never could do it with out her other half.

She even goes the extra mile to go to every game for Hawkins high to see her cheer the game on. Although she is and never will be one for sports she do it for chrissy. Which is what she'll be doing today. Attending a game for Hawkins to support her bestie.

When she unlocks the front door to her trailer home, she is met with her mother having come home from work to cook. "Hi sweetheart, how was practice today?" Arora, her mother asks. "Good. How was work?" Sapphire asks after setting her guitar next to the entrance. " it was ok we had that cranky lady come back for a " "touch up" up on her hair for the third time this week. And guess how had to fulfill her desires?" Arora fills her daughter in on the day she's had.

"Is that why your home early?" The young woman asks. "Yes, four hours I spent on blow drying her hair!" The older woman scoffs. "Anyway your dad won't be home till 8 because he has a bunch of cars coming in for a multitude of different reasons. If your still going to attend that game I suggest you ask to go with Mayfield's girl because I don't want you going alone."  She sighs and pauses before continuing "With the fire at the mall and the disappearances I don't need a dead or missing daughter." Her mother informs her. Sapphire holds her tears back at the thought of the lives lost and how they're families felt.

"Alright mom. I will. I'm going to go freshen up real quick. Then I'll head out." Her mother doesn't respond but sapph knows she heard. When the fire at star court happened aroura lost her best friend. They had been together since birth.

It was hard to hear about the fire but I was worst to loss someone so dear to you. Especially someone who's been there for every part of your life. When her mom found out she broke down a par of her lost. She loves her husband but not even could amount to the love she had for the woman she grew up with. It wasn't as hard for Sapphire but it still hurt to lose the closet thing she had to an aunt.
