As the sun started to set, I shuffled around the room, looking for nothing in particular, I just wanted to learn a bit more about my kidnapper/soon to be husband. I was either looking for a way or a reason to hate him more than I already do but the only things he brought with him to Oakstin where documents about his recent visit, nothing interesting for me to create a scene about. I didn't feel like getting back into bed since my nerves were all over the place so I walked around and just stared at him. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep, nothing like the evil and ridiculously smart Prince that has dragged me into this, he just looks like a perfect guy, there was nothing about his face that I could hate.

I picked up a feather from the floor, judging by the colour I assumed it was his. I dangled it in front of his nose, he scrunched it up and turned over violently, I had to suppress the urge to giggle. If he was going to steal me from my happy life, I was going to make him want to take me back home. I doubted it would work, he seemed quite persistent earlier, but what was he going to do? He surely wouldn't hurt me and if the opportunity to annoy the living shit out of a Prince with no consequences had fallen into my lap then I was going to take it. I ran around to the other side because he turned over and did it again and again until he opened his eyes and stared at me.

"If you wave that fucking feather near me one more time I swear to the Saints and all their suffering that I will throw you out that window." He said grumpily before turning over again and throwing the blanket over his head.

"It's too early to be annoying a Prince."

I rolled my eyes and walked to the other side of the room for a run-up. I pushed off the wall and jumped straight on top of him and as he sat up in shock and pain I threw one of the pillows at him and ran down the stairs.

"Oomph! Bramble!" He called after me, I heard him scramble out of bed, He was probably putting something on first so I ducked into the kitchen and nearly ran straight into Krais, we stared at each other for a brief second and I heard Crucian coming down the stairs. I went to run away but Krais grabbed me and picked me up.

"No! Put me down, or Crucian is literally going to kill me!"

"You're damn right I'm going to kill you, you fucking hit me in the gut."

Krais started to laugh behind me.

"Bramble, you can't go around punching your suitor, he's a big wuss so you have to be nice."

"I am not a wuss! I bet you wouldn't be saying if Gale body slammed you" Crucian bit back with narrowed eyes. I was trying so hard not to laugh.

"Both of you stop, you sound like children, you're supposed to be getting along or this whole thing isn't going to work."

I scoffed and turned to give him an incredulous look.

"How am I supposed to get along with someone who literally stole me away from my family and gave his brother my location so he could shove a plum slice down my throat."

Krais snapped his gaze to Crucian, he looked livid.

"Now that's putting a bit of a slant on it don't you think?"

"You did what Crucian?" Krais asked, his voice raising with each word.

"I didn't know Shilk was going to do-"

"For Saints sake why out of all the people you could have given it to you gave it Shilk?"

Crucian threw his hands up in futile defence and started to talk but Krais silenced him with a look, he then threw me at Crucian and I nearly stumbled before he could catch me.

"That's it, I'm locking the two of you in a room until you can get along, don't even argue with me, if I walk over and the two of you are ignoring each other you will continue to stay in there."
